Sprung to life when joining this yard last year winning three of his first five and ending with a then career-best fourth at Dundalk. Improved again on season reappearance when a luckless fourth at Cork. Rates the one to beat.

Ended last season with victory on the all-weather at Dundalk in a 7f contest. Was much better on his second start this season at Cork but then tailed-off at the Curragh. Bit to prove now.

Dual Leopardstown winner last year proving nicely consistent in the process. Well suited by this C&D and conditions and may have more to offer again this term. One to note on season debut for in-form stable.

Went close to scoring on his first two starts this season at Dundalk and Cork before disappointing at the Curragh. That was a first bad run in a consistent career up to then and not one to give up on yet.

Was building on solid recent form when he unshipped his rider at Cork in the process of running another big race and he duly made up for matters when winning at Leopardstown. 6lb penalty to defy but likely to go close again on quick return.

Off 273 days before struggling over 6f here on return but better when fourth over the same C&D. Should be fitter still and step up in trip will help so every chance he can be competitive.

Two wins from 13 starts when trained by David Loughnane in the UK. Back on last winning mark on stable and season debut but has been ideally suited by 7f on the AW so far.

Seven-time winner, six coming on turf and hampered slightly when second at Cork latest. Remains on a competitive mark based on UK form and likely to be competitive again now he's hit form for new stable.

Distance winner of a Beverley handicap off a 4lb higher mark when in the hands of trainer Ed Dunlop two years ago. Disappointing last twice for new yard and plenty to prove over a trip likely to prove too sharp.

Twice well beaten for previous stable but better when sixth in a maiden on season debut for new yard. Plenty more needed now on handicap debut and faces a first encounter with quick ground.

Forecasts

Bucky Larson (5/2), Perfect Tapatino (3/1), Venetian Rock (13/2), Eastern Racer (7/1), Geological (7/1), Port Lions (8/1), Star Quality (8/1), Spiorad Saoirse (12/1), Premier League (16/1), Mijul Trail (20/1), Amlad (25/1)

17:35 Naas - 19 May 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Geological is bang in form and likely to be involved again if turning out quickly. There's a number of hopes in an open race but there's a lot to like about the way PERFECT TAPATINO is progressing and he was snatched up before running on strongly late last time. Eastern Racer is still well handicapped and was also a bit unlucky on his latest run.
  1. Perfect Tapatino
  2. Geological
  3. Eastern Racer
