500,000 gns yearling who improved from debut to win at Sandown (7f) next time out. Every chance he's going to appreciate this marked step up in trip given his breeding and open to any amount of improvement, though others have achieved more.

In need of the run on debut but has made no mistake in two subsequent starts, winning on heavy ground at Listowel before staying on to win at Naas in September. Should relish this longer trip and respected up in class here.

Won a Group 3 at Chantilly in October and followed up in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile (1m) at Churchill Downs when landing a hat-trick. Likely to improve as he steps up in trip and has Group 1 form in the book already; not one to underestimate here.

Won twice as a juvenile and showed no signs of stopping when stepped up in trip at Newmarket in May, making all in a five runner contest. Much more on his plate here but open to improvement.

Improved from debut to win next time at Nottingham and didn't need to show anything to win a below par Class 5 novice race at Newcastle on his return last month. Big step up in class here but yard are going well and he shouldn't be underestimated.

Shaped well behind a subsequent Group 3 winner who already had experience when runner-up on debut at Doncaster and looked a nice prospect when winning at Windsor last month in a decent time. Could still be anything at this stage.

Unbeaten in four starts as a juvenile, winning a Doncaster Group 2 (7f) before landing the Dewhurst at Newmarket (7f). Skipped the Guineas due to a small setback but looks a classy sort who will go on improving here; exciting proposition.

Won twice last season but has disappointed a little since and did too much too soon in Epsom's Derby trial last time out. More exposed than some and yard have much stronger claims with Too Darn Hot.

Roaring Lion produced a huge performance to land this last year for John Gosden and the trainer will be hoping TOO DARN HOT can produce a similar result. The son of Dubawi enjoyed a remarkable two-year-old campaign and the yard's patient approach, allowing him to miss the 2,000 Guineas in favour of a Derby campaign could pay dividends here. It looks like a red-hot renewal with the likes of Line Of Duty in the line-up, a son of Galileo who already has a Group 1 win to his name from the Breeders' Cup last year. Aidan O'Brien's Japan arrives with a huge reputation and Telecaster has done very little wrong in two starts to date.
