Won two of his four bumpers, but was pulled up on latest start over hurdles at Stratford on his first run following wind surgery. Makes a belated debut on the Flat and is probably best watched.
Fair effort on second of two starts for current trainer when fourth of nine over a mile at this track earlier this month. Plenty more to find stepped up in trip.

Sir Percy half-sister to a Fibresand winner at around a mile. Held up and never in with a chance when 11th of 16 over 1m2f on debut at Chepstow. Should improve, but needs to do so.

Failed to beat a rival and was beaten a long way over shorter distances at Wolverhampton in the autumn. Impossible to make a case for until showing more.

Looked promising when winning on debut at Wolverhampton in the autumn, but was found wanting in a much better race on his reappearance at Haydock. Soft ground may not have suited on that occasion and this firmer surface may be more up his street.

Encouraging third on debut at Kempton in January and stepped up on that display when scoring readily at Chelmsford later in the month. Steps up considerably in distance, but is progressive and should pose a threat if she stays.

Gelding by Australia who cost 75,000gns and is half-brother to eight winners. Not disgraced when 18L fifth of 12 over 1m4f on debut at Salisbury and should be wiser for the experience. Stable won this last year.

A 40,000gns colt by his trainer's Derby hero Sir Percy, he is a half-brother to five Flat winners. Some way behind Johnny Kidd when out the back on debut at Salisbury and looks a work in progress.

Stable companion of Johnny Kidd, she is a Sinndar filly with plenty of stamina on her dam's side of the pedigree. Slowly away and tailed off on debut at Southwell and cannot be fancied on that display.

Daughter of Shamardal out of a mare who was placed in Group 3 company over 1m5f. Beaten over 20L when eighth of 12 over an extended mile on debut at Wolverhampton and needs to do much better if she is to figure.

Lucy Lou33
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-4| J: M Dwyer| T: C Hills
20/1
Daughter of Galileo from the family of the high-class Pilsudksi. Slowly away when eighth of 11 on debut over 1m2f at Newbury and although likely to do better this time, may need a few more runs to develop.

Only limited promise in races at Redcar (1m) and Pontefract (1m2f). Takes another step up in distance and can go handicapping after this.

Forecasts

Great Bear (10/11), Johnny Kidd (7/2), Stone Cougar (8/1), Pacificadora (9/1), Ekayburg (12/1), Moghram (16/1), Lucy Lou (20/1), Desert Mission (33/1), Test Valley (50/1), Constraint (50/1), Dancing Lilly (100/1), Longville Lilly (150/1)

18:55 Bath - 15 May 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

An ordinary contest in which each-way chances can be given to Johnny Kidd and Pacificadora, but it would be no surprise to see GREAT BEAR confirm earlier promise after getting bogged down on soft ground last time. Lucy Lou, Desert Mission and Stone Cougar have nice pedigrees and may do better in time.
  1. Great Bear
  2. Pacificadora
  3. Johnny Kidd
