Modest 81-rated handicap hurdler without a win in seven starts over timber. Winner of a point-to-point in March and connections obviously happy with the step in to Hunter chase territory.
Decent point-to-point form including a win in November and has run well under rules subsequently in a number of Hunter chase starts since the turn of the year. Repeat of form in the fall should see him a leading player.
24-race maiden under rules and needs to recover the form that saw the Lahib gelding land a couple of point-to-point contests in the last three years. May have to settle for a minor role once again.
Gelding by Youmzain out of a Cabello Raptor mare. Pulled up on last couple of point-to-point starts and first time blinkers unlikely to bring about the required amount of progression needed to land a blow here.
Multiplex gelding out of a Dr Fong mare. Dam winner on the AW over 1m4f. Brother to 2m4f hurdle winner Doctor Thea. Won on latest point-to-point start earlier this month and one of the more likely types.
Poor point-to-point figures and pulled up on both starts last month including in a Punchestown Hunter chase over 3m1f on good ground. Hard to make a case for the mare on form to hand.
Daughter of Mahler out of a Glacial Storm. Pulled up on her last five competitive starts including at last months Punchestown festival.
Forecasts
Myrons (5/4), Super Citizen (11/4), Sandycove Island (4/1), Says The Boy (7/1), Doyen Bay (10/1), Light Bulb (25/1), Millview Storm (40/1)
Three-race maiden MYRONS has shown plenty of encouragement in previous starts to be confident of the Stowaway gelding getting off the mark at the fourth time of asking for connections. Sandycove Island ran a promising comeback race at Cork last month and can improve here to emerge as the biggest danger. Doyen Bay and Super Citizen can battle for minor money.
