Horse silk
40/1
£27,000 son of Elusive Pimpernel out of a winning bumper mare who scored over hurdles. Trainer has a respectable record in these contests but a lot of the bigger yards are represented in this.

Feel The Pinch30
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-2| J: C Brace(5)| T: F O'Brien
33/1
Librettist gelding, dam was a bumper winner and sister to the smart Amaretto Rose. Little to take from three runs so far and likely there are a few in this who are better.
5
Horse silk
13/2
Successful by 1L when winning a point-to-point at Corbeagh House in December. Beat little of note but still purchased for £135,000 at the sales later that month.

King Erik62
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-2| J: D A Jacob| T: B Pauling
11/2
Has a good Northern pedigree and is related to four winners in the Borders. Recorded a good time when taking a point-to-point Flat race at Alnwick by 15L in March so one to note in the market ahead of rules debut. Yard 5-18 in bumpers here.

Known
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-2| J: J McGrath| T: N J Henderson
4/1
€55,000 son of Fame And Glory and a half-brother to three-time winner Aasleagh Dawn. Dam won a bumper and one of two in this for top yard.
8
Horse silk
10/1
Plenty of bumper winners in the pedigree and he looked set to maintain that tradition when cruising to the front at Newcastle on heavy ground. Stopped quickly close home but lessons will have been learnt.
9
Horse silk
3/1
£58,000 son of Jeremy and the first foal of a well-related mare who was placed in point-to-points. Represents a leading owner and a yard that have won the last two renewals. Looks of obvious interest should market signals be positive.
10
Horse silk
25/1
Half-brother to a bumper winner and made an encouraging debut at Fakenham in a race that has worked out well. Cannot be dismissed and one of several with a shout.
11
Horse silk
25/1
Two polar opposite performances at Huntingdon and now in a hotter race than either of those contests. Jockey booking a positive but other alternatives look more appealing.
Half-brother to a bumper winner who fetched £50,000 after finishing runner-up on sole point-to-point outing. The third and fourth won subsequently and one to note for a yard who are 5-23 in bumpers over past 12 months.
13
Horse silk
Elleon
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-12| J: G Sheehan| T: W Greatrex
8/1
€44,000 son of Martaline with Flat winners in the pedigree. Yard had a below average season with their bumper horses in 2018-19 and their horses have not been firing.
14
Horse silk
16/1
French bred gelding cost connections £22,000. Yard capable of producing a decent sort have a good record in bumpers here, but likely King Erik is their main hope.
15
Horse silk
Wye Ayeh135
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-12| J: Charlie Deutsch| T: Miss V Williams
40/1
Shirocco gelding out of a dam who was Group placed on the Flat and a winner over hurdles. Needs to improve on Chepstow debut and yard are going through a quiet spell.

20:30 Warwick - 11 May 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Alan King has taken the last two runnings whilst Ben Pauling took this in 2016 with Le Breuil. Both are strongly represented with the latter doubly represented Jockey bookings dictate KING ERIK has pleased since arriving at his new yard. He recorded a fast time when coasting home in a point-to-point bumper in March and that fitness advantage adds to his appeal. The Jigger sports the colours of J P McManus and a market move would be ominous for his rivals. Rock On Rocco threw away a race at Newcastle and will be dangerous if learning from that, whilst the Henderson pair, Known and Hurling Magic, have to be respected although the yard's bumper runners have been underachieving recently.
