Well down the field in a trio of career starts and last in the most recent of them. Can't be fancied here.

Filly by Camelot made a pleasing start here when third of 16 over C&D behind useful Ballydoyle colt Gentle Bellini (entered in several Derby trials). Should come on for that so bold bid looks assured; leading claims.

Debutant by Camelot a €120,000 Y; 10th foal; sister to 1m4f winner Pollara (inc Group 3), closely related to 1m 2yo winner Engage, half-sister to 3 winners inc Stormina (French/US 1m-8.5f inc Listed). Interesting newcomer but hood rarely a positive.

100,000gns F (11,000gns Y); 7th foal; half-sister to Flat winners Tidespring (Group-placed 12.5f/14.5f) & Sweet Dream (Listed-placed 1m 2yo); dam 1m (at 2) to 14.6f winner (inc Vermeille/Park Hill; 115). Likely need further but market can guide.

Hampered and unseated rider inside the final furlong on debut before finishing midfield at Leopardstown last autumn. Big step forward required here.

No Nay Never filly managed third at Naas in her third start at 50/1 before being well held at Navan two weeks later. Others preferred here after that.

Sea The Stars filly running a respectable race before slipping up when short of room just before 1f out last September. Not seen since and hopefully that left no mental scars. Oxx/Prendergast operation slow to take stride.

Galileo newcomer; third foal; sister to US 1m turf winner Switch In Time; dam US 7f Grade 1 winner (Cushion Track/dirt; also 8.5f Grade 2 winner). Respected here for top yard especially as apparent first string over Search For A Song.

No match for Oaks favourite stablemate Pink Dogwood on debut (11th of 15) and well held next at Thurles when sixth. Looks stable second string behind South Sea Pearl and not one of Ballydoyle's better three-year-olds.

18:35 Cork - 10 May 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Although there are some well-bred newcomers from top yards to cloud the picture CAMPHOR gets the vote after her highly encouraging debut against colts over C&D last month. Of the newcomers of course Ballydoyle's South Sea Pearl for red-hot Donnacha O'Brien merits a great deal of respect. Switch Around looks the better of two Dermot Weld Moyglare newcomers.
