Won three of his five starts as a juvenile including Group 2 July Stakes here and the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes (6f). Didn't handle the dip too well when second in the Dewhurst and while that's solid form, he's speedily bred and not certain to get 1m.

Unbeaten in two starts as a juvenile, winning 7f maiden here (July course) in fine style before winning a Listed race in France. Bare level of form needs improving on but stamina proven and yard's runners can take huge steps forward between runs.

Impressive Yarmouth winner in October and ran well in a Newbury Group 3 at the end of last season (form franked since). No match for Shine So Bright here on return but didn't get the run of the race that day and any ease in conditions in his favour.

Looked like an exciting prospect after winning his first three starts but blew out in the Champagne Stakes and his third on return at Chelmsford wasn't overly promising. While stamina is of no concern, he has plenty to find on form.

Impressive Gimcrack winner at York last year but looked in need of a step up in trip when only fifth in the Middle Park Stakes (6f) here in September behind Ten Sovereigns. Needs to improve to mix it at this level on return.

Listed winner on heavy ground at Haydock in September and not beaten far in end of season Group 1 at Doncaster. Good second behind a smart sort at Newbury on his return and may come on for that; any ease in conditions in his favour.

Impressive when winning a C&D maiden on his second start and not disgraced in a Doncaster Group 1 when sixth of 11 in October. Produced a game effort to win the Feilden Stakes (Listed, 1m1f) on return but perhaps vulnerable to speedier types.

Shaped with promise on both starts as a juvenile and won on return at Nottingham in April. That was a fairly decent novice event and yard had a big priced winner in the 1,000 Guineas last year but this colt still has a huge amount to find on form.

Beat a nice type on debut and followed up in the Group 2 Champions Juvenile Stakes at Leopardstown in September. Wasn't seen to best effect back there on return in Listed class but had excuses and the step back up in trip will suit; each-way claims.

Narrowly denied here in a Group 3 before landing Doncaster Group 1 on third start. Looked like he was still learning that day and there's every chance he can improve as a three-year-old; may do even better over further but Moore opts for stablemate.

Took a big step forward from his three starts as a juvenile when runner-up in the Craven (C&D). That didn't appear to be the strongest renewal and yard form a slight concern but open to improvement and a sound surface should suit.

Looked like he was still learning on the job when making it two wins from two starts at Kempton on return. Has plenty more on his plate here though on turf debut and looks vulnerable.

Looked an exciting prospect when winning French Group 1 at Longchamp (1m, good). Beaten short-priced favourite twice since though, on dirt at Meydan, before in behind some of these in the Craven last time. Needs to settle better in first-time hood.

Won first two starts on AW and made up some ground late in the Craven to finish third behind Momkin and Skardu. Yard's runners tend to come on for their seasonal debut but his propensity to miss the break a big concern; wears first-time tongue-tie.

Performed well in defeat in Group class in 2018, including a fifth in the Coventry and third in the Gimcrack. Career best when winning a Listed race here (7f) on return and showed no signs of fading in the final furlong; step up to 1m may suit.

Impressive winner of a decent maiden here on debut (7f) and travelled well from off the pace to come with a late run and land the C&D Craven to make it two wins from two. Perhaps not the strongest renewal but open to improvement.

Listed and Group 3 winner as a juvenile and has been in and out of form in four starts at Meydan this winter, getting his head in front in Listed class last time. More exposed than some though and his form looks below level required to get involved.

Unbeaten in three runs, improving from debut to win a 6f Curragh Group 3 before an impressive win in the Middle Park (6f) here in September. Still looked green there and likely there's plenty more to come this season; not certain to stay 1m though.

Won his first two starts and produced a respectable effort in Group 3 company at Newbury last time when third (Great Scot runner-up). Return to quicker ground could see him to even better effect but has a bit to find on form.

15:35 Newmarket - 4 May 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

A wide-open renewal of the first Classic of the season and it's worth noting trainer Aidan O'Brien has won three of the last four renewals. Ryan Moore opts for Ten Sovereigns, an impressive winner of the Middle Park here last season, though, there are stamina doubts with the amount of natural speed he possesses. Stablemate Magna Grecia has no such concerns, as seen when finishing off best in the Vertem Futurity Trophy (1m) last season. However, it might be worth chancing one at a likely bigger price. SHINE SO BRIGHT produced a smart weight carrying performance in Listed class here last time and he gave the impression the step up to 1m could see him to even better effect.
