Finished third of 11 beaten 5¾L in a Carlisle 2m3½f handicap hurdle when last seen in October on good ground. Tough and genuine sort with market likely to be the best guide on return to action.

Finished third of 13 beaten 4¼L behind Scotch Quay in a Wexford handicap hurdle over 2m before running well in defeat in a Ballinrobe handicap hurdle earlier this month. First-time blinkers likely to assist seven-race maiden.

Without a win in seven hurdle starts to date, yet to get within 8L of the winner on each occasion. Hard to make a case for the September Storm gelding on form to hand.

Dismal form in a couple of maiden hurdle spins at Galway in the autumn when sent off at odds of 100/1 on each occasion, running accordingly on both starts before tailing off on return to action last month at Thurles. Others make more appeal.

Long-standing Flat maiden, one from 13 over hurdles but produced a couple of encouraging efforts at Thurles and Cork before returning to poor form at Limerick last month. Difficult to see any light at the end of the tunnel just yet.

Still relatively lightly raced over fences and has to be noted that he won well at Leopardstown last month and runs off a 13lb lower mark over hurdles. One for the shortlist.

Plenty to prove at the moment following a number of poor efforts over timber in a futile summer jumping campaign. Possibly best watched unless the market suggests otherwise.

Gelding by Salutino out of a Kalanisi mare. Dam unraced sister to bumper winner Kalanisi King. Nothing in three runs as yet for Champion hurdle winning yard but worth a market check on handicap debut.

First glimpse of ability when positively ridden last time but he made a number of errors. Probably has too much to find in too many departments.

Formerly with trainer Dermot Weld bought at the Goffs November sale for €25,000. Well held in three career maiden and a couple of handicap hurdle starts for new connections. Hard to place any faith in.

Promise on her first couple of hurdles starts but looked regressive subsequently and cheekpieces has had no effect on her last couple of starts when last seen in June 2017. Impossible to consider on return to action.

First Reserve: Tailed off latest and little better in two previous races over hurdles. Best watched on handicap debut on first start for new handler.

Age: 6|  Weight: 11-3| J: Reserve 3| T: G P Cromwell| OR:  86

Third Reserve: Seven-race maiden on the Flat, her career has been blighted by prolonged absences. Well down the field at Fairyhouse and Ballinrobe in a couple of dismal maiden hurdle efforts this month. Hasn't shown enough to be of interest.

NO WAY JACK is taken to get off the mark for connections at the sixth time of asking over hurdles. The seven-year-old finished a solid and game second of 22 beaten 5L on handicap debut earlier this month at Fairyhouse off a 1lb lower mark and can take advantage of the derisory mark at the expense of first-time blinkered, Percy B Shelley, the Danny Mullins-ridden Perfect Leader and Mon Storm who was another to finish behind Scotch Quay at Fairyhouse this month.
