Made a big leap forward latest with an excellent second of 22 at Fairyhouse. Only upped 1lb for that most pleasing handicap debut so has very strong claims if running here (also declared Sligo 28th and reserve Kilbeggan 26th).

Sole win came over 7f on the Flat for Kevin Ryan in September 2017 but remains a eight-race maiden over hurdles. Well held in two dismal efforts last month and needs significant improvement here.

Upped 8lb for winning a 2m4f Fairyhouse handicap two starts back she ran fairly well next there when seventh of 14. Still lightly raced so could improve further and wouldn't need a great deal of progress to have a say here.

Has returned in style from a 900-day break to follow up a fine second of 11 at Ayr in February by landing the spoils in a Cork handicap hurdle over 2m on soft ground last month. Handicapper may have caught up based on latest seventh.

Still quite lightly raced but last two starts in handicaps suggest current mark, whilst quite lowly, over estimates her ability.

Former Andrew Balding inmate never threatened to get involved in three races over hurdles so far. Handicap debut comes with plenty to prove.

Regressive maiden under both codes. On a decent mark based on pick of form but didn't fire on her return, admitting that run may have been needed. Down in class, but must halt the slide. Also declared at Sligo (28th).

Won a Chester novice event (7f, good to soft) on the Flat in 2017, when with Tom Dascombe. Form was on the slide in that code last year, and hasn't shown much in four starts for this trainer.

Dam was a sister to a 3m winner, and there's also a bit of speed in her pedigree, so she has her plus points, but nothing shown in first four starts suggests she can be a factor here.

Rathbride Prince42

Eight race maiden who has started three career maiden hurdle contests at odds of 100/1 running appropriately on each occasion. Handicap debut seventh was better but pulled up a long way out since.

Formerly with trainer Tom Taaffe and without a win in six hurdle starts. Off the track three years before being pulled up at Downpatrick and off a further 10 months since. Impossible to fancy.

Step in the right direction latest when seventh of 14 at Ballinrobe having showed very little before that but even so she makes relatively modest appeal here..

Age: 4|  Weight: 10-8| J: A W Short(3)| T: Miss K Brown| OR:  87
25/1
Unplaced in three over hurdles and 13 in total to date. That said she wasn't disgraced in her hurdle races so far and with a lowly mark to start she will almost certainly fare better here.

Age: 4|  Weight: 10-8| J: P T Enright| T: R Tyner| OR:  87

Yet to get competitive or anywhere close to being in four starts over hurdles. Nothing on Flat to shout home about either so best avoided here.

NO WAY JACK made a fine start to his handicapping career latest in a big field at Fairyhouse and having only gone up 1lb he makes plenty of appeal to go one better here in a weaker contest. Vinabell won well two starts back and is an unexposed sort from a good source so rates one of the biggest threats. Our Jerry has been in good form and could also have a say.
