Well behind Chatez on return to action at Newbury where he could never strike a blow. Much better than that and no surprise to see him get involved with that run under his belt.
Career-best effort when fine second in the Cambridgeshire on final outing of last season. Returns off a 5lb higher mark, but is open to further improvement.
Stable companion of Chatez who has been running well over longer distances on the AW since the turn of the year. No obvious reason why this drop in trip will suit.
Plenty of solid 1m handicap form last season, but has not been at his best in three starts this time round. Handicap mark is starting to fall.
Ripon winner for Karl Burke last season, but form tailed off in the autumn. Starts out for a new trainer and is worth a market check on seasonal reappearance.
Completed a late summer hat-trick last season, but shot up the weights and was well held on final two starts. Needs to have improved for his winter break if he is to defy this mark.
York winner in the autumn after which he went up 4lb and was a fair third of eight at Leicester. Reappears off the same rating and may strip fitter for the run.
Two AW wins in six runs and rounded off last season with a fair third at Kempton. Begins a new season on the same mark and, given his trainer's superb record in improving horses as they develop, he has the potential to be a major player.
Won a maiden at Longchamp last summer when trained in France by Nicolas Clement. British debut and first run for this trainer so watching brief is advised.

Top-weight Gabrial retains enough ability to be a threat and Chatez is clearly at the top of his game, but both have to concede lumps of weight to a potential improver in LEDHAM, who looks just the sort of performer his top trainer excels with. Escobar should leave his Newbury running behind, while Plutonian, Mordin and Knighted may have further improvement in them.
