Hasn't won for over two years and best form invariably shown when there is plenty of cut in ground so any rain would help his chances. Poor effort at Wetherby latest but has been eased 4lb to lowest mark since 2016.
Showed ability when placed in both bumpers. Promising third on hurdles bow in November but ran badly next time and underwent wind surgery. Caught theye on first start back, staying on steadily at Newbury and interesting now on handicap bow.
Landed Sedgefield 2m4f novice hurdle in November. Was tracking leaders when fell heavily at the ninth flight at Exeter last time but showed some promise and is not out of it if fall hasn't left its mark.
Has dropped 12lb since November having looked one paced in five starts for current yard having previously been trained in Ireland by Willie Mullins. Stays this trip but doesn't appear in best of form at present.
Just 2lb higher than win at Ludlow (2m5f) in November but pulled up last time out at Warwick when dropped out very quickly and has questions to answer on recent evidence.
Won handicap hurdle at Carlisle in Feburary off just 1lb lower mark but fell last time in Newcastle handicap chase when in touch at halfway. Returns to timber and has some hope if rediscovering Carlisle form.
Wins at Ayr and Newcastle in last three starts reflect that he's in good heart but runs off 7lb higher mark than latest success which came on his preferred testing ground. May find things happening quick enough for him unless rain arrives.

Forecasts
Legal Eyes (9/4), Arctic Road (11/4), Potters Hedger (3/1), Steel Wave (7/2), Bryden Boy (15/2), Knocknamona (9/1), Call Me Sid (11/1), Bolton Boy (12/1), Tempuran (14/1), Tulsa Jack (16/1)
LEGAL EYES gets the vote stepping up in trip on his handicap debut having shaped with promsie when staying on steadily last time out over 2m4f. Despite having to give away weight all round, Potters Hedger could prove a danger and is a solid yardstick, while in a race of mainly out-of-form horses Bryden Boy and Arctic Road would not be without a chance if there is any rain to ease the ground.
