Kyllachy colt from a good family who was bought for 100,000gns but hasn't really progressed in four starts. Dropped in class for handicap debut and would have to be of interest in this company if backed.

Dam was a Fibresand winner so no surprise to see her produce a career best there three weeks ago. Showed a lot of speed until blowing up and she will be a lot fitter here for her handicap debut off an attractive mark.

Mixed reviews for her performances last year but she ended with a solid effort over C&D. Came to hand early last season and has every chance in a modest race.

Consistent sort who can take a keen hold. Drawn to get some cover and yard have had a couple of winners this week over sprint distances.

Produced one of his better efforts last time but a form line through the third gives him a lot to find with Sepahi and he has been off two months since.

Has shown a fair bit of speed but she is a 15-race maiden and it is probably time to stop making excuses for her.

Has justified short odds to win a couple of 0-60 events at Kempton. Had to work hard last time and he is 7lb higher in the weights on this occasion.

Has barely beaten a rival in five starts and a wide draw makes her even less appealing. Jockey booking and a drop into a Class 6 are positives so she is worth double checking in the market at least.

Had the subsequent Hilary Needer Trophy winner behind when producing her one run of note at Nottingham last year. Has barely beaten a rival since and it seems likely she needs soft ground.

Has not made any impact in three good Irish maidens. Interesting to see her travel here from County Kildare on her handicap debut for a small yard.

Behind Sepahi here on handicap debut. Ran as though she would appreciate today's extra furlong, but the form does not appear to be strong.

Forecasts

Pentland Lad (1/1), Griggy (4/1), Sepahi (6/1), Antonia Clara (7/1), Tease Maid (8/1), Spirit Of May (14/1), Temple of Wonder (14/1), Te Amo Te Amo (20/1), Evangeline Samos (25/1), Vena d'Amore (33/1), Sweet Forgetme Not (50/1), Two Faced (66/1)

19:30 Chelmsford City - 25 April 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Pentland Lad will be fancied to complete a hat-trick but a 7lb rise for a hard fought victory last time makes him more vulnerable. Sepahi also scored last time but the form looks suspect. Market moves for Sweet Forgetme Not, Evangeline Samos or Te Amo Te Amo would be positive indicators, but Griggy, Antonia Clara and Temple Of Wonder are starting to look exposed. TEASE MAID showed a lot of pace at Southwell on her return and will be fitter here. That form makes her nicely treated for her handicap debut and she could take some catching.
  1. Tease Maid
  2. Pentland Lad
  3. Te Amo Te Amo
