Skilfully placed to land three poor races over 2m in convincing style earlier in the season before taking a break following defeat in a Bangor-On-Dee novice hurdle in November. Makes long awaited return and appears hard to beat on chasing debut.
Winner of two of his 19 starts over hurdles gaining a modest mark of 104. Well beaten last of three on chasing debut at Naas in January over 2m and looks up against it here.
17-race maiden who is still without a win over hurdles despite 16 attempts. Well held on last start over timber at Ballinrobe earlier this month and others make more appeal on chasing introduction.
Losing run now totals 26 and remains without success in eight chase starts. Career best when second of six beaten 1¾L in a Fairyhouse beginners chase in January. others have more scope for improvement.
Plenty to build on the basis of a couple of chase starts at Navan and at the same course in a Grade 3 contest in December. Could emerge as a big danger to the main protagonist.
10-race maiden over the larger obstacles but has hit the frame on five occasions, including finishing second of nine beaten 7L in a Wexford novice handicap chase earlier this month. Can run well again but may have to settle for a minor role.
Forecasts
Or Jaune De Somoza (7/4), Stowaway Forever (2/1), Global Jackpot (9/4), My Manekineko (14/1), Muroor (33/1), My Forever Friend (50/1)
Screaming Colours landed an 80/1 shock under jockey Roger Loughran in this race 12 months ago but the chances of lightning striking twice look remote as the Gordon Elliott-trained GLOBAL JACKPOT makes his long awaited appearance over the larger obstacles. The 141-rated hurdler should be able to see off the attentions of Or Jaune De Somoza and Stowaway Forever in a weak looking renewal.
