Gained latest win on return at Thirsk last May, and back to form when second of 4 to Tarboosh in minor event at Nottingham in August. Has had wind surgery since a disappointing end to to 2018.
Dual Fibresand winner this year, and runner-up in a couple of AW handicaps prior to finishing 5L fifth in a Listed contest at Lingfield in February. Has won over C&D before, although high enough in the weights on balance.
Ran plenty of solid races after scoring at Salisbury last term including when second over 5f at Ascot in September. Easy to excuse his final start (in eyeshields) and should be competitive if ready to go after a break.
Won twice over this trip at Sandown last year when trained by James Tate, and joined current yard for 110,000 gns last autumn. Disappointing on debut for new connections at Kempton, however, and needs to bounce back now.
Speedy mare who scored at Windsor last summer, but ran poorly in four subsequent starts, and needs to prove that her old ability remains intact on return from absence.
Won Cornwallis Stakes over C&D as a two-year-old, and often highly tried last year when hard to place. Handicapper has finally cut him some slack, though, and he retains all his old pace, so could do some damage from draw next to the far rail.
Won off a 7lb lower mark at Haydock last June. Below form since, but set a lot to do when down the pack at Kempton last month, and better than that run would suggest.
Veteran who was runner-up in this race 12 months ago before winning over C&D in May. Still 4lb above his last winning mark, and may be vulnerable to younger rivals now.
Won at Salisbury last year, and back from a spell in the doldrums when third at Chelmsford on latest start, Still looks a shade too high in the weights on balance of turf form, however.
Won at Newcastle in October for David O'Meara and not beaten far on final start for that yard despite meeting trouble in running. Not the most consistent, but claims if resuming for new yard in same kind of form.
Has thrived on AW in recent months, bagging a trio of wins, and not discredited when fifth at Chelmsford, Returns to turf where his mark is 10lb lower, and last two wins on this surface have come over C&D, including off a 7lb higher mark.

ABEL HANDY was highly tried having won a Group 2 over C&D in 2017, but he's begun to slip back down the weights at last and is drawn to showcase his speed on the far rail. Shamshon is wrong at the weights, but arguably generously treated on the form he's shown on the all-weather of late, and he is feared, as is Open Wide, assuming his high draw is no hardship.
