One of the few juvenile failures this season for a yard which has a good strike-rate with its two-year-olds. Offered something to work on when beating only one home on debut at Musselburgh (forced to race wide); will come on for the experience.
Cost €33,000 as a yearling for a yard who are capable of getting a juvenile ready first-time out. 2-16 with first-time out two-year-olds at Thirsk in the last five seasons, this one is worth noting for a market move.
Heeraat colt (cost €7,500 as a foal); half-brother to three winners including winner at up to 1m2f Faldal. Stable not known for first-time out juveniles; 0-56 in the last five years, best watched on debut.
Third foal out of a dam who was a 7f two-year-old winner (half-sister to useful winner at up to 1m4f Duke Of Bronte). First juvenile runner for this fledgling yard.
Half-brother to several winners for a yard whose first juvenile of the season runs in division one of this contest. 12% strike-rate with their debutants in this sphere in the last five years (poor record at this track); others appeal more.
Yard no stranger to winning with two-year-old newcomers (outperform their par-score at this track). Up and running with their juveniles already this £28,000 yearling has winning relations in his pedigree; likely to play a part in this.
One of only two with experience in this although she offered little on her debut (left behind from halfway). Should come on a little for that experience switched to turf but hard to see her troubling some of the potentially decent newcomers.
Yard have a 16% strike-rate with newcomers of this age group in the last five years (2-12 with newcomers here). €58,000 yearling; sister to juvenile 6f winner North Wind plus half-sister to several winners; forward display expected.
Yard have a poor strike-rate with first-time out juveniles (the ones that do win tend to be smart). Sister to 1m1f winner Universal Gleam and half-sister to several winners (some at sprint trips); dam juvenile 5f winner; market to provide clues.
With a record of 1-91 for juvenile newcomers over the past five years not much should be expected of this daughter of Monsieur Bond on her first start. Out of a dam who won at up to 1m4f she can only be watched on her initial outing.
Stable have no great record with two-year-old newcomers (5% strike-rate last five years). Kodiac filly (cost 18,000 yearling), sister to winner at up to 6f Artair (juvenile 5f winner); only of interest if there was market support.

Run in one division last year Tim Easterby scored with the 25-1 shot Vintage Brut (turned out to be a useful sort). It may pay to keep a close eye on what happens in the first division but the experience gained by BAILEYS FREEDOM at Musselburgh may well stand him in good stead here against some potentially decent newcomers. Of the large group making their debuts Ventura Rebel looks one of the leading candidates coming from a yard with a good record with this sort. The filly JM Jackson would fit into the same category and a forward showing is expected. Dazzling Des and Knightcap are two others that are worth noting in the market.
