Trainer in cracking form (five winners from last seven runners) with this one shaping well last time (better than bare result) in first-time cheekpieces at Wolverhampton over 6f. On a very fair mark; looks as though she will be suited by this 7f.
A winner over 1m on his final juvenile start at Kempton on his handicap debut (suited by the test of stamina). Looked as though he would be upped in trip this year so strange to see him start his campaign over 7f; of more interest at 1m plus.
C&D winner off a mark of 61 (looked well in front of that assessment) winning easily (suited by the strong pace to run at). Failed to get the race run to suit last time on the back of a 7lb rise over 1m at Kempton; chance but needs pace in the race.
Eight starts as a juvenile brought no joy including in handicaps but he found some improvement last time off the back of a break (also down in grade) at Kempton (7f). Could have done without the 3lb rise for that second; should remain competitive.
Only lightly-raced as a two-year-old with all his races coming at 6f on turf. Last start his first in a handicap gave a clue that he didn't look that well treated; now makes his first start after a break on the AW; mark still looks a challenging one.
C&D winner in January of a minor event and now steps into a handicap for the first time looking t build on that victory. Mark looks fair and having proved himself over this C&D he's one to consider with further progress not ruled out.
Very minor glimpses of promise as a juvenile on turf in four starts at up to 7f on a variety of ground. Back in action off a break plus being gelded and a wind op on the AW (Kempton) making handicap debut; ran well but progress needed to score.
Certainly had the look of one for handicaps throughout his short career and now makes his debut in this sphere upped to 7f (all races at 6f so far). Promises to be suited by this scenario but faces some useful types in this contest.
Irish import who got off the mark for this yard on his second start over C&D looking to have come on from his first outing. Three sound runs since then have followed (two over C&D); but he's been a beaten favourite the last twice off a similar mark.
Modest efforts in three starts as a juvenile at up to 6f looking as though he would be suited by this 7f at least on his final start. Now makes his debut in handicaps off what looks a reasonable mark; market to provide the best clues.
Stable are always to be respected but she didn't show that much as a juvenile (finished last on three of four starts). Improved a little on her first start this year and into handicaps for the first time; still has plenty to prove though.

Trainer James Tate is in terrific form at the moment and couple that with his 20% strike-rate here and his filly DISTANT MIRAGE has to be of interest before you even start to look at her form which stands up to close inspection especially her last run. Devil’s Angel looks the type to improve and this C&D novice winner looks the main danger although there are a few other lurking on what may well be potentially lenient marks. Those would include Rich Approach who will need a strong pace to run at and Midnight In Havana who looks to have been brought along for a test such as this. Rambaldi is a capable sort but surely needs more of a test than he will get here.
