2/1
Sea The Stars colt (120,000gns yearling); raced with zest and perhaps didn't quite get home on handicap debut at Newmarket (1m2f, good) in October when finishing a respectable 2½L fourth to Skymax; potentially stronger as a 3yo; holds every chance.

Cost 27,000gns as a juvenile; not beaten all that far in a couple of novice contests at Kempton (7f-1m) in the autumn of 2018, albeit without necessarily shaping like a future winner either; up in trip for handicap/seasonal debut.

€65,000 yearling; didn't really progress with experience as a juvenile despite racing consistently; best effort came when finishing 3L third to Caballero at Musselburgh (7f, good); up in trip for handicap/seasonal debut.

25/1
Oasis Dream colt (40,000gns yearling); his bare form is nothing out of the ordinary, and it's far from certain as to what constitutes his optimum trip (has raced between 7f-1m2f); handicap/seasonal debut.

16:40 Nottingham - 10 April 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

A divided three-year-old handicap to conclude the Nottingham action. Whilst it remains very early days for the majority of those in the line-up, there isn't a single horse who makes masses of obvious appeal. The likes of She's Apples and Fares Poet tick some boxes without necessarily appearing to be the most obvious of winners in waiting. Therefore, perhaps the most logical choice is the Sea The Stars colt BO SAMRAAN who acquitted himself reasonably well in a 1m2f Class 2 nursery at Newmarket in October (fourth) and represents the Middleham maestro Mark Johnston.
  1. Bo Samraan
  2. She's Apples
  3. Valence
