4/1
Last seen winning the Grade 3 Mares Flat race at the Punchestown festival 12 months ago, pulling away from the field to win in facile fashion by over 5L. That 15-runner contest has produced no less than nine individual winners since. Leading player.

2/1
Hosed up to win Ballinrobe bumper on debut in August, runner-up in Navan maiden hurdle in November before landing a Naas bumper on return to action last month. Notable jockey booking.
3
Horse silk
20/1
Landed her first two bumpers but has made little progress since and finished behind a couple of 100/1 shots at Naas in January before pulling up in an out of sorts appearance at Gowran Park last month. Hard to make a case for her.

Age: 5|  Weight: 11-9| J: Mr P W Mullins| T: W P Mullins| BF| D
9/4
Impressive Listed winner at Gowran Park in October before finishing a poor fourth of 11 beaten over 18L in a Navan bumper when last seen in November. Capable of bouncing back for respected connections.

Horse silk
11/1
By Milan out of a Rambo Dancer mare, bolted up on second run at Thurles before being unable to quicken in the closing stages of a Naas bumper last month beaten 4L behind Gypsey Island. Looks opposable following that run.
6
Horse silk
33/1
Distance winner of a Hexham bumper on good ground on her final start for trainer Noel Kelly in May. No impression on winner looking one pace finishing fourth of 13 beaten 23L on stable debut in a Navan maiden hurdle last month.
7
Horse silk
33/1
Yeats mare who showed promise in bumpers last year before a sizable improvement to win at Navan in January before a below [par performance in a Grade 2 contest over this trip at Leopardstown when last seen in February. Others preferred.

Age: 5|  Weight: 11-6| J: Mr J J Codd| T: G Elliott| D
12/1
Filly by Gold Well out of a Bin Ajawaad mare. Half-sister to solid chase winner Blazing Bailey. Won a competitive 2m bumper at Listowel when last seen in September. Likely to have plenty of supporters on return for respected trainer/jockey combo.

Age: 5|  Weight: 11-6| J: Mr J Hurley| T: A Mullins| D
25/1
Filly by Shantou out of a Un Desperado mare. Winner by the shortest of margins in a Limerick bumper on St Stephens day in a spirited contest on debut. Further improvement would not surprise.
10
Horse silk
50/1
By Doyen out of a Bob Back mare. Running well in defeat in three career starts to date including when third of 19 at Gowran Park in February before stepping up in trip to finish third of 14 beaten 2¾L at Wexford last month. Big ask for the mare.
11
Horse silk
25/1
Salutino mare out of a dam who was a bumper winner. Ran well in defeat when finishing third of 10 beaten 7¼L on debut in a Clonmel 2m bumper in February. Looks a tall order in this company.
Filly by Doyen out of a Bach mare. Travelled strongly in to the race on debut in a Navan bumper in January beaten 4¾L finishing third of 11 before a below par run at Down Royal last month. In the right hands to bounce back.

Forecasts

Gypsy Island (2/1), Yukon Lil (9/4), Colreevy (4/1), Coromandel Lady (11/1), Sassy Yet Classy (12/1), Queens Boulevard (20/1), Penny Out (25/1), Shanches (25/1), Papal Pearl (33/1), Heaven Help Us (33/1), Dollys Destination (33/1), Lunch In Adare (50/1)

17:05 Fairyhouse - 7 April 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

If COLREEVY is ready the Willie Mullins-trained mare could take all the beating here. Last seen winning the Grade 3 Mares Flat race at the Punchestown festival 12 months ago, a race that has produced the likes of Black Tears, Tintangle, Tens Or Better and Moskovite to win since along with stablemates, Mason's Daughter and Sapphire Lady. Gypsey Island under Derek O'Connor and the Jamie Codd-ridden Sassy Yet Classy look more than capable of running a big race.
  1. Colreevy
  2. Gypsy Island
