€48,000 son of Court Cave. shaped well when 2¼L third of 13 to Hugos Other Horse at Fontwell on last month's debut, and likely to do better, for all a longer trip will suit in time.
Favourite when readily justifying favouritism on racecourse bow at Chepstow, and ran just as well when sixth of 11 to Eden du Houx in Listed event at Ascot last time. Work to do with runner-up Imperial Alcazar, but remains with potential.
Son of Oscar out of an unraced sister to useful chaser Sizing Africa. Promising debut when third of 14 at Warwick in December, and built on that when an impressive winner at Wincanton last time. Sure to make another bold bid.
Runner-up on both bumper starts to date, leaving Anthony Honeyball after debut. Needs to improve again to take a hand here, but not dismissed out of hand.
Caught the eye when a staying-on fourth over C&D on debut, and built on that when second to Eden du Houx in a Listed event at Ascot. Rested since December, and has strong form claims if at his best now.
Cost £100,000 as a four-year-old having won two of his three Irish point-to-point starts. Just behind House Island when third on bumper debut at Kempton last month, and entitled to improve past that rival now.
Progressive form in three bumpers at Warwick, winning last May, and defying a penalty in good style in December. Form of latest race not worked out, but he still looks a smart prospect.
Similar form when in the frame in all four bumpers to date, but his merit seems well established, and he looks to have his work cut out at this level.
Forecasts
Green Dolphin (6/4), Imperial Alcazar (11/4), Nobby (10/3), Eason (12/1), Madiba Passion (12/1), Corrany (20/1), House Island (40/1), Logan Rocks (40/1)
IMPERIAL ALCAZAR found only one too good in a similar event at Ascot in December, and gives the impression he's been laid out for this race since. He makes marginally more appeal than impressive Warwick winner Nobby, with Green Dolphin another to keep onside in a race full of promising sorts.
