Stepped up markedly on previous efforts when scoring decisively on the Southwell Fibresand. Much more needed on this different surface lumbered with top weight in a handicap, but is clearly going the right way.
Arguably best run so far when second of eight to a progressive sort over 7f at this venue in first-time blinkers which are retained. Previous form indicates he stays this longer trip so he looks likely to go well again.
Just touched off in a 1m Kempton handicap before shedding her maiden tag in novice company over 7f at the same venue. Up in the weights, but is improving and has to be considered.
Promise in novice events when trained by Jane Chapple-Hyam. Two runs for current trainer have not been so encouraging, but it is still early days for him and handicap mark is falling.
Gradually got the hang of things as a juvenile and last two efforts in maiden/handicap company over 1m2f were promising. Drops in trip for seasonal reappearance and is best watched unless the market speaks heavily in his favour.
Little in two runs on turf as a juvenile, but has clearly benefited from his winter break and a gelding operation as he showed when third of 12 in a Kempton novice event over 7f. Finished well there and step up in trip should suit on handicap bow.
Plenty of good efforts and latest second of 10 in a 1m Kempton handicap was another solid display. Up a further 2lb, but has experience and consistency on his side.
Placed three times in seven starts, including twice in handicaps at Kempton. Not obviously well treated, however, and other less-exposed rivals make more appeal.
Only glimmers of promise in six starts and has been well held in last three of them in handicaps. Plunging down the weights, but is hard to make a case for.
Forecasts
Azets (11/8), Dancing Jo (10/3), On The Line (9/2), Prince Llyr (17/2), Toybox (12/1), Little Rock (14/1), Redemptive (20/1), Isle of Wolves (28/1), Mitigator (50/1), Sussex Solo (80/1)
A competitive three-year-old handicap in which the consistent Dancing Jo has to be afforded plenty of respect. He looks likely to hit the frame again, but in AZETS he faces a rival who looked a completely different proposition on his seasonal reappearance after being gelded and promises to appreciate this longer trip on his first start in a handicap. Cases can also be made for top-weight Little Rock, On The Line and Toybox.
