Yeats mare. Half-sister to fairly useful 2m4f chase winner Copper West. Fell twice in three point-to-point starts, wears blinkers for rules debut.

Age: 6|  Weight: 11-9| J: Mrs P Condon(5)| T: T Foley
33/1
Daughter of Definite Article out of a King's Ride mare. 33-1 and well down the field in debut at Punchestown and likely best watched again.
3
Horse silk
9/1
Daughter of Court Cave out of a Glacial Storm mare related to Alexander Banquet. Runner-up at Listowel (2m4f, heavy; 6-4f) in September but didn't match that Limerick over Christmas over 2m. Can likely bounce back for champion trainer.
Placed in a couple of points last year and ran well on debut, when 2L fifth in a Limerick bumper in December. Runner-up last month at Gowran Park (2m1f, good to soft) and should go close.
Has plenty experience after five starts in this sphere and January's C&D third (soft) was an improved effort, going down less than 2L. In the mix again with first-time cheekpieces added.

7/1
Mare had run well in three bumpers prior to last month's lacklustre Gowran Park effort (2m1f, soft) in which Etincelle Lioterie was second. Bit to prove for now.

Horse silk
33/1
Daughter of Getaway out of a Poliglote mare. Shaped with promise on debut at Thurles last month, though didn't really build on that back there since. More called for.
Winner of an October point-to-point over 3m. Daughter of Robin Des Champs cost £48,000 at the Cheltenham November sales. Fourth in 2m Punchestown bumper last month on debut for Jessica Harrington.
Beat Hollow mare is a half-sister to bumper winner/fairly useful hurdler Masons Daughter. Market should reveal more on debut.

Horse silk
14/1
Has shaped with credit in all five bumper starts so far, though never truly looked like winning one. That might not change this afternoon.
Well beaten and never nearer in a couple of career bumper starts last year and difficult to fancy returning from a break in this competitive contest.

Horse silk
40/1
By Fame And Glory out of a half-sister to Hurricane Fly who has produced the useful Tornado Flyer. Sent off 50-1 and well fended off on rules bow over hurdles at Gowran Park (2m, soft) 12 days ago. Reverts to bumper and needs plenty more.
Fame And Glory filly, dam an unraced half-sister to useful chaser Meanus Dandy. Plenty stamina in pedigree and probably best watched on debut outing.
Zoffany filly out of a moderate dam. Stable having a quiet year, exasperated by Presenting Percy failing to meet expectations at Cheltenham, and she is best watched on debut.

Horse silk
66/1
Beat only one home on debut in a Leopardstown bumper this month, she looks up against it again now.

Forecasts

Etincelle Lioterie (13/8), Robin Des Sivola (9/2), Roseys Hollow (13/2), Miss Cedille (7/1), Lady Mccabe (9/1), Eileen O (9/1), Shantou Bay (14/1), Another Copper (20/1), Monsoon Miss (33/1), Ben's Girl (33/1), Davitt Road Glory (33/1), Hidden Sapphire (33/1), Arizona Flyer (40/1), Only For Jenny (66/1), Wonderful Woman (100/1)

17:30 Cork - 21 March 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Miss Cedille, Etincelle Lioterie and Eileen O are closely matched on their meeting at Limerick over Christmas. The last-named had gone close on debut at Listowel and should be capable of better, though Willie Mullins' strike rate right now is well below the norm. Etincelle Lioterie meanwhile improved to be second at Gowran Park last month and looks to have a big role here but ROBIN DES SIVOLA might take their limelight. He was fourth on debut for Jessica Harrington at Punchestown in what is proving a strong contest, with three further winners having come out of it. He may have requisite improvement to take this contest.
  1. Robin Des Sivola
  2. Etincelle Lioterie
  3. Eileen O
