Pine Warblerp,t15
Age: 10|  Weight: 11-13| J: C Gethings| T: S Edmunds| OR:  101
8/1
Winless over fences so far but has dropped to a very handy mark and improved showing on first start back after wind surgery when runner-up at Uttoxeter (3m, soft) on New Year's Eve. 0-15 after recent poor Exeter run.
2
Horse silk
Kilcrea Bridgep,t15
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-12| J: R T Dunne| T: R G Hawker| OR:  100
8/1
Held off Big Time Frank to score over 3m at Exeter in December, though has been easily enough fended off in both runs since.
3
Horse silk
Sutter's Millv122
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-12| J: Mitchell Bastyan(5)| T: Evan Williams| OR:  100| C| D
16/1
Ludlow winner in November on good ground over 3m. Handles soft/heavy going, remains high enough in the ratings on form shown since and first-time visor must spark extra.
4
Horse silk
Big Time Frankb15
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-10| J: R Johnson| T: P Gundry| OR:  98
9/4
Sequence of runner-up finishes now stands at six, including behind both Kilcrea Bridge and Kiwi Myth already. Just collared last time, deserves a change of fortune, gets champion jockey for assistance.
5
Horse silk
Heresmynumberp,t33
Age: 9|  Weight: 11-8| J: Adam Wedge| T: A Stronge| OR:  96| D
8/1
Dual winner last season who was far from disgraced over hurdles at Fakenham last month. Could be on a decent mark back over fences and worth noting in the betting.
6
Horse silk
Maybe Plentyp11
Age: 10|  Weight: 11-4| J: James Bowen| T: G R I Smyly| OR:  92
12/1
Another that is potentially well handicapped in this field but closing in on three years since a win and folded tamely at Hereford this month in similar conditions.
7
Horse silk
Blackmillp,t23
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-4| J: David Bass| T: David Dennis| OR:  92
16/1
Handicap mark is tumbling but signs that he'll take advantage have been few and far between, looks easily opposed on recent form.
8
Horse silk
Midnight Magicp,t22
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-4| J: David Noonan| T: D Pipe| OR:  92
9/1
Promising fourth at Ffos Las (3m, good to soft) on chasing introduction under today's rider, entitled to consideration with more to come.
9
Horse silk
Magical Man117
Age: 12|  Weight: 11-3| J: Thomas Bellamy| T: Mrs D A Hamer| OR:  91
33/1
Getting on in years and winless since November 2017. Unseated rider early on latest start at Ffos Las (3m, soft) in November and needs a leap of faith at the moment.
10
Horse silk
The Last Bridgep,t31
Age: 12|  Weight: 10-11| J: T J O'Brien| T: Mrs S Johnson| OR:  85
50/1
Ought to handle conditions ok but three runs this season are far from inspiring and on that evidence he's got plenty to prove here.
12
Horse silk
Eaton Millerb123
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-7| J: James Davies| T: T Symonds| OR:  81
16/1
Long-standing maiden under rules, has only had three goes over fences. A remote third at Uttoxeter last month back jumping these obstacles and has plenty to prove on formbook.
13
Horse silk
Macca's Stowawayb20
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-1| J: P K Donovan(7)| T: K Bishop| OR:  75
25/1
Maiden, hasn't threatened in his previous two starts over fences (or indeed as a hurdler) and she is overlooked again based on form.
14
Horse silk
Leith Hill Legasib,t9
Age: 10|  Weight: 10-0| J: R Patrick(3)| T: C E Longsdon| OR:  74| C| D
8/1
More than three years have elapsed since she tasted victory, her most recent efforts haven't hinted of an impending change in fortune.
15
Horse silk
Onurbikep1,t30
Age: 11|  Weight: 10-0| J: Lee Edwards| T: J G O'Neill| OR:  70
20/1
Only fifth behind Big Time Frank (second) at Lingfield (2m7½f, soft) on most recent start, needs a clear improvement on that to be in the mix this afternoon.
16
Horse silk
Try It Sometimep,t31
Age: 11|  Weight: 10-0| J: Conor Ring(3)| T: Sheila Lewis| OR:  69
40/1
Long time between drinks now, with no success since February 2015 at Ffos Las. Struggling of late and case not aided by being 5lb 'wrong' on these terms.

14:50 Chepstow - 20 March 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

It would be hard to deny Big Time Frank his win after six straight runner-up finishes. He gets the champion jockey for company, which should aid him, but keeps finding ways not to win. Both Kilcrea Bridge and Kiwi Myth are amongst his conquerors in that sequence of runs, with the latter deemed more likely to repeat the trick now. MIDNIGHT MAGIC however made a sound start over fences at Ffos Las recently and David Noonan's mount is respected up 2lb with a chance to build on that now.
  1. Midnight Magic
  2. Big Time Frank
  3. Kiwi Myth
