Scored at both Haydock (2m3f, soft) and Chepstow (good to soft) before being found out in a class 2 at Ascot last time. This is nowhere near as competitive an event, he acts on heavy ground and a much better effort is anticipated.
Third here in a bumper (soft) last April. Not disgraced on last month's hurdles debut, but will need plenty of improvement for it if he is to genuinely compete against the leading protagonists here.
Won an Irish maiden point in October, costing £26,000 shortly after. 25-1 and well held on debut in a Sedgefield novice event (2m4f, good to soft) in January. Much more needed.

Forecasts
Cloudy Glen (1/8), Hill Sixteen (5/4), Johnbb (5/2), Cosheston (8/1), Mill Race King (18/1), Donald Dux (200/1)
Hill Sixteen is much respected here as he career looks to be on an upward trajectory, but he looks more of a chaser and he may struggle to hold off CLOUDY GLEN, who looked decent before coming unstuck in a better race last time. Cosheston is probably next best.
