Remains a maiden over fences (0-6) but is a dual winner over hurdles on heavy ground; unable to lay a glove on all the way winner Brave Spartacus in a similar contest at Market Rasen (2m3f, good to soft) last month.
Fortunate winner over 2m at this track (soft) in January 2017, and seemingly at his very best around Ayr (12212); 2lb higher than when beaten 1½L by today's rival Graystown at Ayr (2m4f+, good to soft) last month; riders 7lb claim helpful; chance.
2lb higher than when beating the hardy Halycon Days by ¾L here (2m) in January; does stay this longer trip, although has been raced almost exclusively over the minimum trip for a period of 12 months or so.
Half-brother to the talented Sa Suffit; has evidently been difficult to deal with and remains a maiden after a 11 starts (0-3 over fences); plunging down the weights; others much preferred.
Course winner (2m) off a 2lb lower mark in January 2018; blotted his copybook by refusing to race in the equivalent contest in 2019; back to form at Kelso latest (2m5f+, good to soft) when caught close home by Fly Rory Fly.
Eight-race maiden (0-3 over fences); has fallen 12lb in the weights since early December, but will need to settle better in order to see out this fairly demanding 2m4f trip on rain-softened ground.
2lb higher than when making all in virtually unraceable ground over 2m here in April 2018; has left Rebecca Menzies since (£6,000) and shouldn't be troubling Mumgos Debut on last time out evidence.

Casual Cavalier (15/8), Graystown (7/2), Rainy Day Dylan (4/1), Mumgos Debut (4/1), Charlie Snow Angel (7/1), Lovely Schtuff (7/1), Black Kettle (8/1), Ca Le Ferra (12/1)
Another moderate contest in which the most obvious pair to concentrate upon are the Ayr foes Graystown and the veteran CASUAL CAVALIER. On revised terms the 11yo is potentially capable of reversing those placings (with 7lb claimer Billy Garritty a helpful booking). Furthermore, it's possible that the stiff Newcastle fences might just find out the Stuart Coltherd-trainer runner. Others with reasonable claims include Mumgos Debut and Charlie Snow Angel.
