Won a good ground Ayr bumper on debut last May, and improved on his hurdles debut when scoring by 9L on being stepped up in trip at Bangor. Eclipsed those performances in a Grade 2 event last time and he looks a cut above these
Chased home the useful Scarlet Dragon here before opening his account in an ordinary event at Ludlow. Jumps well and open to further improvement now tackling a longer trip. Yard a modest 3-43 with their hurdlers here since 2014.
First foal of an unraced half-sister to 2m4f-3m1f hurdle/useful chase winner Fully Cry. Given a kind introduction at Doncaster where he hit a flat spot approaching three out. Will appreciate further but can still give a good account here.
Longstanding maiden who has looked a wayward character. Readily opposable against some younger rivals who have shown a lot more.
Runner-up in an Irish point-to-point who fetched £36,000. Stable companion of Finawn Bawn and, having struggled so badly on debut, he is the clear stable second string.
Hinted at ability in two starts in bumpers but possible this longer trip will suit now obstacles are in the way. Still looks a risky option on this occasion.
Had the useful Truckin Away back in third when landing a point-to-point on a stiff circuit in testing conditions. Looked one paced last time and doubtful this will provide a sufficient test.
Has been quick to throw in the towel on both starts and it will be a huge shock if she was able to compete with the principals.

FINAWN BAWN was doubly entered at Cheltenham this week and comes here for this far more straightforward task. His form stands out against that of his rivals, although Ah Well comes from a good family and will not be long in repaying the kindness shown on his introduction. Kingofthecotswolds has gone well here previously and is likely to improve further now getting more of a trip and he would have to be considered the prime threat.
