Horse silk
100/1
Newcomer by Resplendent Cee. third foal, dam unraced but was a half-sister to the high class stayer from a decade ago, Grey Abbey. Others appeal more.
3
Horse silk
50/1
Newcomer by Kap Rock the first foal out of an unraced mare by Leeds. Little to suggest he's a likely sort here.
4

Green Dolphin84
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-4| J: N D Fehily| T: H Fry
7/4
Son of Oscar out of an unraced sister to useful chaser Sizing Africa. Promising debut when third of 14 at Warwick in December and with that experience under his belt he's expected to go close for yard well able in bumpers.
By Yeats from an excellent staying family, and cost €45,000 last year. Fourth of 14 at Warwick on debut gives him a neck to find with Green Dolphin which is neither here nor there so like that rival he has realistic claims.
Gelding by Court Cave out of a point-to-point, hurdle and chase winner who stayed 3m. Very much bred with stamina in mind so fair third (lost second on post) on debut at Aintree a race filled with promise. Can't be ruled out.

Saint De Reve46
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-4| J: H Cobden| T: P F Nicholls| BF
4/1
Decent effort when 12L ninth in a bumper over C&D and improved on that when most recently finishing fourth of 11 at Exeter. Well bred and from top yard so sort to continue progress and respected.

Horse silk
33/1
Cloudings newcomer cost €10,000 as a three-year-old. Half-brother to point/2m5f hurdle winner Royal Chief and point winner Beat All Out. Not the most likely of newcomers.
10
Horse silk
33/1
Son of Scorpion a half-brother to two winners over hurdles (both by Westerner). From top yard so worth a cursory check in the market although others more likely.
11
Horse silk
Beecher
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-10| J: Benjamin Poste| T: Katy Price
40/1
Shirocco newcomer out of an unraced half sister to Lady Ischia winner of a Bumper and placed twice including second in Future Champions INH Flat Race (Listed). Yard not known for success in such races.
12
Horse silk
250/1
Tiger Groom gelding last of 10 and 10th of 12 in two starts to date. Hard to make a case for him.
13
Horse silk
14/1
Passing Glance gelding the first progeny out of a seven time NH winner including one bumper. Made a plenty promising enough debut when fourth in a decent looking Newbury bumper. Can only improve for that and boasts leading claims here.
14
Horse silk
20/1
Cost €90,000 at two. Eighth foal, closely related to useful 2m1f/2m3f hurdle winner Karalee and half-brother to two other winners, out of 2m-2m3f hurdle/chase winner (inc. Listed). Nice pedigree, but yard 1-44 in bumpers over five seasons.

Green Dolphin (7/4), Beyond Redemption (11/4), Raven Court (7/2), Saint De Reve (4/1), Hawk's Well (9/2), Sense Of Adventure (12/1), Midnight Glance (14/1), Stolen Silver (20/1), Stormy Flight (33/1), Who Shot Jr (33/1), Beecher (40/1), En Coeur (50/1), Big Boy Blues (100/1), Calgary Tiger (250/1)

17:30 Wincanton - 7 March 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

A chance is taken on Rules debutant BEYOND REDEMPTION who falls firmly into the 'could-be-anything' category as an expensive purchase by top connections after winning his lone point-to-point. Warwick third Green Dolphin and Newbury fourth Midnight Glance are two of the more persuasive rivals based on their lone runs.
  1. Beyond Redemption
  2. Green Dolphin
  3. Midnight Glance
