A trappy contest, where none of the quintet can be ruled out. However, THE PADDY PIE returns here in fine form, acts at the track and is taken to defy another 4lb rise. Bulkov is handily placed at the weights to reverse placings with the selection, but he has to come up with the goods, and Cap Du Nord could be the biggest danger. Neither Manwell nor Castletown is written off.
