Comes from a family of winners and having gone close on debut he stepped up again to finish fourth in Listed company at Cheltenham. Sets the standard on that form and stable have won this previously.
Placed in two 1m5½f bumpers here and went even closer upped to 2m latest when a neck second at Hereford. This likely a stronger contest but nevertheless has solid form and an experience edge so merits respect.

Alph will predictably have his supporters but having disappointed twice it looks safer to side with FUSEAU who was fourth in Listed company on New Years Day and receives a handy allowance. Namib Dancer and A Book Of Intrigue showed promise on their debuts, but a bigger threat may come from Volunteer who was a strong finishing second here on his debut.
