Won twice in small field novices before third of four at this level at Doncaster last time out. Better yet to come perhaps but looks up against it giving away weight to all.
Took record to two from three over fences latest when winning at Newbury over 2m7½f, scoring by 13L. Well worth a crack at this level now and can go well providing there isn't any rain given sound surfaces seem preferred.
Done nothing but progress last two seasons and jumped well en-route to first chase win at Chepstow last time out. Right handed course here should suite better and worthy of his place at this level now.
Useful three-time winner over hurdles but has already shown enough to suggest that he will be a considerably better chaser with bloodless wins at Hexham (by 13L) and Wetherby (46L). Up in class here but string claims.
Winner of four of his seven career starts to date including a novices' handicap chase over an extended 2m7f at Chepstow. Fell at the first latest at Exeter but if overcoming that he has genuine claims here.
Forecasts
Top Ville Ben (5/2), Yalltari (3/1), Now Mcginty (10/3), Mister Malarky (9/2), Coup De Pinceau (11/2)
TOP VILLE BEN can give Philip Kirby a landmark success here and this vastly impressive dual scorer over fences could yet go the very top. Mister Malarky was impressive at Newbury latest and is rated the principle threat although Yalltari is also very much on the shortlist based on his impressive Chepstow win.
