Course winner (plenty of placed form) who got back to his best when winning over this trip on Tapeta last time; suited by the way the race developed. Admirably consistent since joining this yard; has to cope with a further 3lb rise here though.
Useful hurdler (working his way back to form in that sphere) who now reverts to the Flat (2-11); not seen in this sphere since June 2017; fourth in Ascot Stakes (2m4f). Fibresand debut off a reasonable mark but others look to offer a safer haven.
Fibresand debutante (sire has a modest record on surface) who stays this trip (won over 2m last year on AW). Latest two starts back from a break have failed to inspire (well behind Busy Street last time); plenty to prove at present off this mark.
Fairly useful handicapper when trained in Ireland (2017) but still only has a maiden win to his name. Falling in the weights on the Flat with his latest two hurdles starts hardly stimulating much interest; Fibresand debut, best watched.
Yet to be defeated on Fibresand (3-3) although all his form is over the 1m4f trip here; had to dig deep last time but showed a good attitude. Needs to prove himself over his trip though; 0-3 at trips beyond 1m5f and up another 2lb here.
Course winner (1m4f) who appears to act on all surfaces and gives the impression he'll stay further. Good second last time out on Tapeta to a progressive sort; raised 2lb but still looks on a fair mark; very much a player if seeing out the trip.
Winner of a course maiden (1m3f)at the back end of 2017; lightly-raced since then but ran with credit on his return here (1m4f) last time. Entitled to be a little sharper but has to show that he can cope with this extra 4f; others persuade more.

Four course winners go to post in this but none of them have proved themselves over C&D as yet although Busy Street did win over this distance on Tapeta at Newcastle last time when upped to that trip for the first time. He’s up 3lb for that win and that may just make him a little vulnerable. Azari has proved himself very adept on this surface of late but has to prove himself at this trip now as does AMITIE WALTZ is in the same position but gives the greater impression he will enjoy this trip and still features on a good mark. Alan King won this last year and runs Rainbow Dreamer who looks well-in on his Ascot Stakes fourth but has to prove himself on this surface.
