20/1
Gelding by Getaway out of a Supreme Leader mare. No impression from two out on debut in a Limerick 2m bumper when last seen in December. Difficult to see him making any significant impact in first-time tongue tie.

Horse silk
33/1
Beneficial gelding out of a Roselier mare. Sports a hood on debut for yard that boast a 31% win and place strike rate with their bumper runners in the last two years. Worthy of consideration.
Gelding by Robin Des Champs out of a Portrait Gallery mare. Cost €30,000 as a three-year-old and won on point-to-point debut in May 2017. Possible place claims on bumper introduction.

Horse silk

Third of 10 beaten over 6L in a Wexford maiden hurdle looks to be a career best in between five dismal efforts in the last 14 months. Others preferred.

Age: 6|  Weight: 12-0| J: J R Wildman(7)| T: G Elliott
12/1
Short of room before weakening to finish fourth of seven on debut in a Fairyhouse bumper in December. Place claims for yard with a 45% win and place strike rate at the track in early/mid February in the last three years.

Horse silk
6/1
Mahler gelding out of a Presenting mare. Cost €50,000 as a three-year-old and is expected to improve on a promising debut in a Fairyhouse bumper last month when finishing third of nine ½L adrift of Castle Oliver.

2/1
Mahler gelding out of a Westerner mare. Cost €10,000 as a yearling before fetching €32,000 as a three-year-old. Promising on return to action when finishing second of six at Fairyhouse last month. Likely to improve and worth considering.
Milan gelding out of a Northern Crystal mare. Cost €92,000 as a three-year-old and is likely to be of interest for leading national hunt connections with interesting jockey engagement.

Horse silk
7/1
Presenting gelding out of an Old Vic mare. Cost €125,000 as a three-year-old and rewarded each way interest when finishing third of nine on debut in a Limerick bumper when last seen in December. Not easily dismissed but more needed in this company.
€2,500 gelding by Multiplex out of a Bustino mare. Well beaten on debut in a Down Royal bumper over Christmas finishing last of 14 beaten over 100L. Difficult to place any faith in.
11
Horse silk
100/1
Daughter of Motivator out of a Fasliyev mare. Best watched on debut for yard not renowned for their bumper starters in the last couple of seasons.
12
Horse silk
25/1
By Dansant out of a Definite Article mare. Not disgraced in the point-to-point ranks but is likely to be up against it here on bumper debut.
Winner of an October point-to-point over 3m. Daughter of Robin Des Champs cost £48,000 at the Cheltenham November sales and any market move would be worth noting on debut for leading yard.

Forecasts

Cats For Cash (2/1), Reasonable Doubt (9/2), Cavalry Master (5/1), Battle Of Midway (6/1), Dinny Lacey (7/1), Robin Des Sivola (10/1), Yendo (12/1), Fire Away (20/1), Elk Bridge (25/1), Teddy's Acre (33/1), Onawingandaprayer (33/1), Ujumpthelastuwin (100/1), Alarmist (100/1)

16:50 Punchestown - 10 February 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Could be a battle of the experienced geldings as Battle Of Midway may not have enough to stop the potentially exciting CATS FOR CASH from the Gordon Elliott yard. The five-year-old has twice finished runner up in a couple of bumpers including going down by ¾L at Fairyhouse last month and can land the closing contest for connections getting off the mark at the third attempt. The Jessica Harrington-trained Robin Des Sivola is worthy of consideration while Cavalry Master and Yendo could be capable of hitting the frame.
  1. Cats For Cash
  2. Battle Of Midway
  3. Robin Des Sivola
