5/1
Hit the frame at this venue when finishing third of 13 beaten 9¾L behind Borderline Casino over 2m3f on good to yielding ground when last seen in November. Distance winner that should be among the leading players.

Horse silk
Alcatraz8
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-12| J: E T Daly(7)| T: P Nolan
66/1
Useful former 83-rated Flat handicapper for trainer Richard O'Brien who was pulled-up on his sole hurdle start at Plumpton over two years ago. Best watched on stable debut.
3
Horse silk
All For Joyh144
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-12| J: B Browne(5)| T: O McKiernan
5/4
Hitting the bar in bumpers finishing runner-up on no less than four occasions in a 12 month period. Fourth of 14 on only hurdle start to date and can be expected to go well here in first-time hood.
4
Horse silk
40/1
Modest 64-rated handicapper on the Flat and was well held when falling on hurdling debut in a Leopardstown maiden on St Stephens day. Any market move would be worth noting.
5
Horse silk
Bizzario1250
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-12| J: J J Slevin| T: Peter Maher
66/1
Mediocre 65-rated handicapper on the Flat for trainer Mark Johnston when last seen three years ago. Others preferred for win purposes.
6
Horse silk
Melman11
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-12| J: D J Mullins| T: Peter Fahey
80/1
Beaten more than 40L in three maiden hurdle starts before being pulled up at 100/1 in a similar contest at Down Royal last month. Easy to look elsewhere.
7
Horse silk
No Way Jackt14
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-12| J: C D Maxwell| T: P Martin
66/1
Busy gelding of late running under both codes but has failed to inspire in a number of below-par efforts over timber at Punchestown and Fairyhouse last month. Impossible to fancy in this line-up.
8
Horse silk
Rainbow Pride144
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-12| J: Mr D T Kelly(7)| T: L Comer| D
100/1
Failed to beat a rival home in a couple of Flat starts when last seen in September in nine and 18 runner contests at Listowel and Galway. Pulled up on sole start over hurdles over two years ago and first-time tongue tie unlikely to assist his cause.
9
Horse silk
100/1
Well held when finishing down the field in a couple of bumpers last year for previous connections. Hard to construct much of a case for the Milan gelding on first start for new connections.
10
Horse silk
Vipers Nest35
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-12| J: D F O'Regan| T: J Queally
33/1
Promising seventh of 12 on racecourse debut in a Cork bumper over 2m last month on soft ground. Could be an interesting hurdling debut for leading national hunt connections.
11
Horse silk
66/1
Mid-division for most of his debut in a Limerick bumper over 2m2f over Christmas, eventually finishing seventh of 11 beaten 24L. Looks opposable on hurdling debut.
12
Horse silk
Fauguernon14
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-11| J: Sean Flanagan| T: N Meade
4/1
Cost €85,000 as a yearling and was a useful Flat winner in France. Plenty to like about his maiden hurdle run at Fairyhouse last month finishing fifth of 19. One of the more likely types.
13
Horse silk
33/1
Not disgraced but generally well held in a couple of point-to-point starts last year. Possibly best watched unless the market indicates otherwise.
14
Horse silk
Nam63
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-11| J: S G McDermott| T: T Mullins| C
100/1
Winner on turf and the AW on the Flat but will have disappointed connections in a couple of poor maiden hurdle efforts since November. Hard to see him making any significant impact.
15
Horse silk
Pairc Na Ngael13
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-11| J: Mark Walsh| T: C Byrnes
20/1
Made some late headway, keeping on late in the day on maiden hurdle debut here last month, finishing 11 of 24 beaten 22L. Worth a check in the market for leading owner.
16
Horse silk
100/1
Well held in a couple of laboured efforts over hurdles at Navan and here last month when beaten 46L over 2m. Looks up against it once again.
17
Horse silk
100/1
Poor form in a series of dismal performances over hurdles since December including a heavy defeat at Navan last month. Others look to be progressing at a quicker rate.
Unraced Flame And Glory gelding out of a Taipan mare. Cost €92,000 as a three-year-old and entitled to make the shortlist for leading owner and trainer combination.
19
Horse silk
Take A Turn21
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-11| J: Jack Kennedy| T: G Elliott
33/1
Well beaten and no impression on a couple of maiden hurdle starts last month including when finishing 69L behind the winner at Navan last time out. Not to be taken lightly given yard have a 41% win and place strike rate in early February here.
Fame And Glory gelding out of a Mark Of Esteem mare. Half-brother to three winners and not one to leave out of calculations given leading connections.
21
Horse silk
50/1
Nothing of note in a couple of maiden hurdle starts since December and hasn't shown enough to be of interest in this company.
22
Horse silk
Greantat114
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-5| J: P E Corbett(3)| T: T Cleary
100/1
Poor 45-rated handicapper on the Flat and has shown relatively little in two career maiden hurdle starts in the last two months. Needs to improve significantly in first-time tongue-tie.
23
Horse silk
100/1
Has been left toiling in a couple of career maiden hurdles to date at Naas and Fairyhouse recently. Looks vulnerable once again.
24
Horse silk
Rock Samphire246
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-4| J: B J Cooper| T: E D Delany
66/1
Daughter of Fastnet Rock out of a Giant's Causeway mare. Winner on the Flat in France but has plenty to prove on jumps debut.
25
Horse silk
Soft Focust44
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-4| J: C Brassil(5)| T: M Brassil
100/1
Has shown little encouragement in a couple of maiden hurdle starts to date. One of three in the contest for leading owner and has a bit to prove at present.

13:40 Naas - 9 February 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

The front-running tactics of the Oliver McKiernan-trained ALL FOR JOY can pay dividends here as the Robin Des Pres gelding land the spoils as the seven-year-old bids to get off the mark at the seventh time of asking for connections. The Edward Harty-trained Advantage Point should improve for a solid third of 13 over 2m3f on his last start here in November, while the Gigginstown House Stud pair of Fauguernon and Royal Thief are capable of hitting the frame.
  1. All For Joy
  2. Advantage Point
  3. Royal Thief
