Presenting mare, sister to 2m winner over hurdles. Dam a winner over hurdles. Impressive when winning a Downpatrick bumper on debut but outpaced when beaten at Punchestown last time. Likely capable of better for top connections.
2
Horse silk
25/1
Yeats mare who showed promise in bumpers last year before a sizable improvement to win at Navan last time out. May do better over further but respected here nonetheless.

11/2
Ran well in a pair of Galway bumpers despite signs of greenness and put in a more rounded display when winning in good fashion at Naas last time. Wears a first-time hood and holds each-way claims if she can improve again.

Horse silk
3/1
Jeremy mare who was impressive when a shock bumper winner (25/1) at Fairyhouse in December. Will have learnt plenty from that and expected to go well again here.

Age: 6|  Weight: 11-2| J: Mr T Hamilton| T: L Fowler
100/1
Showed nothing when beaten 35L on debut at Galway and hard to fancy on all known evidence. Wears first-time hood.
Big Bad Bob filly is a half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/chaser Dandy Dan. Ran well in snatches on debut at Navan but should improve from that outing and of obvious interest for these connections.

Horse silk
12/1
Doyen mare, cost €4,500 as a yearling. Dam a half-sister to the useful Balnaslow and two more useful NH performers. Fascinating contender on debut for this yard and market likely to reveal expectations.
8
Horse silk
3/1
Westerner mare, runner-up on each of her last three starts in bumpers including over C&D last time out. Tough race to break her maiden in now upped in class though.

Rebel Og (5/2), Santa Rossa (3/1), Two Shoe Tom (3/1), Jeremys Flame (11/2), Bigbadandbeautiful (8/1), Botani (12/1), Heaven Help Us (25/1), Oh So Frisky (100/1)

16:40 Leopardstown - 3 February 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Willie Mullins won this race last year and has solid claims again with his two runners Botani and Rebel Og. The former is well worth watching in the market prior to the race while the latter may be capable of bouncing back after a slightly disappointing run on her latest outing. However, Gordon Elliot's BIGBADANDBEAUTIFUL makes most appeal after promising debut at Navan last time and she shaped like she would improve for that outing.
  1. Bigbadandbeautiful
  2. Botani
  3. Rebel Og
