1m6f Redcar winner back in September ran best subsequent race over C&D where second. Lesser effort latest over 2m. Past C&D winner so suspicion is that such a trip suits better and is respected here.
Dual C&D winner this winter and showed that he likely has more trips to the winner's enclosure up his sleeve latest when beaten just ½L here into third having led 2f out. Mark unchanged for that so leading claims.
Former French trained 11-race maiden ran one of his best races on British soil latest when a 2L fourth over C&D in what looked an above average race of it's type. Same mark today and maybe strip fitter this time so genuine chance.
Winner of two of his last three starts, both over 1m1½f at Wolverhampton. Past C&D winner (by 7L) so step back up in trip no concern. In great form but 7lb rise means his highest mark since 2016.
Six-race maiden ran one of his best races to date latest when upped to 1m4f for the first time at Wolverhampton where he snatched third on the line. Gets 2lb back and extra ½f should suit so far from out of this.
14-race maiden beaten just seven rivals in five starts for this yard and variety of trips tried with no effect. Mile out of the handicap here so struggles set to continue.

TRAUTMANN has twice landed the spoils over C&D already this winter and his latest close third here when possibly going a little soon suggested that he remains on a winning mark so he gets the nod. Thawry ran respectably latest in a warm C&D handicap and he could easily improve for that given it was his first race post layoff so he is a danger. Home Before Dusk also posted an effort which bodes well for the coming months last time out.
