Just a small field contest where it’s hard to look beyond the mare ALIZEE DE JANEIRO completing her hat-trick having recently scored twice at this venue. She’s 8lb higher than her last winning chase mark but only 5lb above her last winning hurdles mark and she ought to be able to cope with this sort of mark given the form she’s in. Some Reign clearly has his own ideas about the game in amongst some ability and this trip may suit him although he has to jump away first. Monsieur Co will be far happier back over fences but did win a rather weak race last time and he may have to settle for the runner-up slot.
