Not seen over fences since twice failing to complete when trained by Seamus Mullins way back in 2014. Won stable debut over hurdles last term and ran a solid enough race latest finishing third. Wears first-time tongue-tie.
C&D winner latest on ground likely to be very similar to what she encounters here. That success her first in 13 career starts but plenty to like about the performance and looked like there was more than official margin in hand so go close again.
Nine-time chase winner including five over this C&D but pulled up here last time which he had also done two starts earlier. Third in between at Bangor off this mark a sounder effort so not ruled out but constancy now an issue.
Unplaced in seven hurdles and four point-to-points so her opening third over fences at Catterick would have to be considered a positive step. Jumped soundly enough there and was only beaten 1¾L. Scope to improve further so has potential.
Dual hurdles winner not yet converted that form to fences. Beaten 20L into fourth over C&D by Roxyfet last season and ran only once since when third over hurdles at Kelso. Handicap mark workable if he converts best form to fences.
Only placed once over hurdles and once over fences in four starts over each. Having gained first placing over C&D two starts ago she could only manage seventh of nine latest in the race won by Trooblue so appeal limited.
Pulled-up in two chase races last summer and beaten at least 25L in all hurdle races and again pulled-up last time out at Musselburgh. Tongue-tie tried but likely in vein from evidence so far.
Only won two of 60 races under rules although both have come over C&D. Comes here on a 19-race losing streak and despite picking up place money a couple of times this season he is of limited appeal from 2lb out the handicap.
35-race maiden only placed once over fences and nine starts passed since with four incompletions in that run. Long way out of the handicap and easy to pass over.
39-race maiden placed twice over fences to end last season although those in five and six runner contests. Not achieved much this term and 10lb out of the handicap here so struggles likely continue.
Forecasts
Trooblue (9/4), Domestic Diva (7/2), Steel City (9/2), Roxyfet (5/1), Jokers And Rogues (8/1), Ringaringarosie (10/1), Duhallowcountry (16/1), Leonasisland (25/1), Rapid Fritz (66/1), Bertielicious (100/1)
In a race unlikely to take a great deal of winning recent C&D scorerTROOBLUE makes plenty of appeal for the bang in form yard of Sue Smith so is confidently selected here. Domestic Diva ran well first time over fences to finish third so she has scope and is rated one of the more likely sorts. It's hard to know what to expect from Steel City back over fences for the first time since 2014 but his hurdles form is competitive and Brian Hughes' booking is very interesting.
