Course winner last time out when improving to get off the mark over 1m further franking the form of the Kempton novice (7f) he was second in the time before. Now steps into handicap company and upped in trip off what looks a workable mark.
Runner-up slot over 1m on his second start remains his best effort and he's best judged on that performance rather than a well held fifth last time out. Now moves into handicaps for the first time trying this trip for the first time.
Handicap debutante who has so far progressed with each run returning his best performance last time over an extended 1m at Wolverhampton. This trip looks as though it will bring about further progress and he's one to note in the market.
Given a break and returning to the turf from his one outing on that surface he showed improved form to win over 1m at Kempton last time. Given how he ran over that trip (needed every yard) he'll be much better suited by this 1m2f; 5lb higher.
Given the usual modus operandi of this yard it won't be a surprise to see this one take a step forward now on handicap debut stepped up in trip. Cheekpieces also go on for the first time; yard have 22% strike-rate (last five years) with this type.
Expensive half-sister to three winners from a good yard who so far hasn't fulfilled her potential over shorter trips (7f the furthest). Now stepped up 3f on handicap debut and the switch to this sphere may well see some improvement forthcoming.
Three turf runs in the summer/autumn over shorter trips didn't really show him to the best advantage and this discipline may see him in a better light. Has a pedigree that suggests middle distances will suit but not one of the more obvious types.
Very little form so far having only beaten three horses home in four starts and she showed very little on her handicap debut last time over 1m at Southwell. Cheekpieces (first-time) and up in trip but 11lb out of the weights; hard to fancy.

As usual with three-year-old handicaps at this time of the year there are plenty that should show more now they move into handicaps and step up in trip. Royal Guild would be one of the most interesting in that group given his background/trainer and he should be watched in the market. Renegade Master already has a course win under his belt and has to be respected along with Il Capitano who is progressing with every run. DEBBONAIR already has winning handicap experience and is up 5lb for his Kempton win last time over 1m and he’ll appreciate this extra 2f as he bids to follow up.
