Winner of an Irish point-to-point on debut; bumper/hurdles form of a fair nature. Disappointing since returning from wind surgery (pulled up last time) and starting to look temperamental; stiff mark on chase debut.

Fair maiden in handicap hurdles although he looks summed up by his mark which isn't a lenient one. Unsuited by the drop to 2m last time and will be better over this trip as he makes his chase debut (has run in point-to-points); other appeal more.

Took and age to get off the mark but finally did so when taking Sandown handicap hurdle in testing conditions over this trip. Rather reverted to type since including over fences last time (jumping a cause for concern); mark gives hope in this.

Drops in grade for his chasing debut have shown some promise over hurdles in handicaps (travelled well into the race when last seen). Now off his lowest mark yet with cheekpieces going on and hard to write off at this level.

Pulled up on her only other run over fences but is a hurdle winner off a 3lb lower mark. Hard to fancy on her comeback run but did show a little more last time out in a heavy ground event at Exeter (50-1); place chance on her best hurdles form.

Confirmed the promise of his penultimate run when landing a gamble last time having been given a chance by the handicapper at Fontwell (2m2f, heavy). Jumped/travelled well but up 11lb now for winning a weak race last time; should still take a hand.

Stable have been in good form of late and are capable of turning around types like this who has so far shown little for the yard (including on the Flat). Now makes her chasing debut and whilst she doesn't have an obvious chance worth a market check.

Never a threat on her handicap hurdle debut last time (handed a very stiff mark) and quickly switched to fences. Dropped 5lb on his chase debut but likely to need more help from the handicapper to be of any interest.

Age: 6|  Weight: 11-2| J: R Patrick(3)| T: Tim Vaughan| OR:  93WS
12/1
One of two runners from the yard who shaped as though he needed the run last time in a first-time visor (replaced cheekpieces). Tongue-tie now goes on (first run back from wind surgery); little impact over hurdles, may do better in this sphere.

First run for a new yard having previously been with Charlie Longsdon (well held in four runs for that yard). Not seen under Rules since 2016 and pulled up in a point-to-point a year ago; plenty to prove on what he's shown so far.

Plenty of placed form to his name including on his last two starts the most recent of which saw him return to fences. Took the runner-up slot at Uttoxeter (conceded first run) and looks well handicapped on his hurdles form; one to consider.

Attracted support and showed improved form when getting off the mark at Warwick in May over hurdles (3m1f). Again well backed last time out but never landed a blow and now goes chasing for the first time; needs to show more than last time.

14:10 Lingfield - 15 January 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

A big field but this can probably be distilled down to a few that have chances with the impossibly named KALASKADESEMILLEY looking to build on his second last time out when the winner got first run on him having been caught out of his ground and left with plenty to do; the handicapper has left him on the same mark. Chivers who confirmed the promise of his previous run at Fontwell last time looks the main danger although he has to cope with an 11lb rise for winning a weak race. Tzar De L’Elfe ought to be competitive but his jumping is a question mark while Oscar World has the look of a chaser and may be able to do better in this sphere. Silent Encore and Foxy Lass are worth a market check.
