Finished a moderate fourth of six her on debut and already has improvement to find. Others more appealing this time.

Failed to complete in his first two starts in point-to-points but not disgraced when last seen in that sphere. His dam is a half-sister to chase winner Accordion Etoile, which suggests trip of 2m4f will be within his compass before long.
Cost €44,00 and was far from disgraced in an Ascot bumper on debut in November. The winner has let the form down since but this fellow may have a good deal more to come. Worth a betting check.
A half-brother to winning pointers Fairy Mix and Just Harry, the gelding is bred to get a trip and may be best watched this time up.

Was getting the hang of things on his debut at Exeter and is entitled to have come on for the run. Worth a betting check and not much to find to make the frame at least.

Cost €26,000 as a yearling, the son of Kamsin wasn't beaten far on debut here last month but the front pair had already flown by the time he got going. A sterner test of stamina will suit on that evidence.

Third of ten on debut but was a disappointing favourite who found very little when push came to shove in the latter stages. A longer trip is sure to be fine when obstacles are in the way further down the line.
10
Horse silk

Cost €13,000 and is closely related to 2m hurdle winner Seeyouallincoppers. Yard quiet just now and likely this fellow will be a beneficiary of the experience this time.

Showed promise on debut but took a backwards step at Ludlow earlier this month. Tongue tie fitted today, which may help, but be likelihood is that others will be more progressive.

Kalabee
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-2| J: James Bowen| T: K Burke
14/1
Cost £10,000 as a three-year-old, the son of Kalanisi is a half-brother to a winning Irish point-to-pointer. Another from a stable that is on the cold list. Best watched.
Her dam is an unraced half-sister to 2m-3m hurdles winner Dream Falcon. Stable form not what it could be just now and is another that is probably best left alone on her debut run in public.

Forecasts

Jelski (6/4), Get In The Queue (2/1), Pond Road (7/2), Lamanver Bel Ami (5/1), Glengar (7/1), The Cob (12/1), Moonlight Camp (12/1), Cage Of Fear (12/1), Jaunty Velocity (14/1), Kalabee (14/1), Just Got To Get On (25/1), Tybielass (33/1), Beau Haze (33/1)

16:15 Ffos Las - 14 January 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

A 7lb penalty for a convincing win at Uttoxeter may not be enough to stop GET IN THE QUEUE from following up here and the Harry Fry-trained gelding gets the nod to round off the card on a high note. Jelski ought to have come on from his own debut run and has to merit respect this time, while Lamanver Bel Ami wasn't beaten far at Exeter last time and is also a potential threat.
  1. Get In The Queue
  2. Jelski
  3. Lamanver Bel Ami
