1
Horse silk
4/7
Well-related sort, made winning start at Naas in November in a bumper and runner-up to Champion Bumper winner Relegate on hurdles bow there before Christmas (2m, yielding) on hurdles bow. Player upped in trip.
2
Horse silk
20/1
Fair bumper performer (0-6) and ran with promise on hurdles introduction at Navan (2m4f, yielding) last month (finished sixth of 21). Should be more to come before long.
3
Horse silk
Kingston Girl14
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-7| J: R A Doyle(5)| T: L Comer
10/1
Killarney bumper winner at fifth attempt. Runner-up on hurdling debut at Navan (2m4f, yielding) last month before finding Leopardstown Grade 3 too hot over Christmas. Down in trip, this is more realistic.
4
Horse silk
12/1
Off the mark at the seventh attempt in Punchestown bumper over this trip on New Year's Eve, reverts to hurdles for the first time with confidence boosted as a result.
5
Horse silk
100/1
Poor Flat performer, well fended off in trio of hurdles starts including last month at Naas (2m, yielding) back from a year off, hard to fancy on that evidence.
6
Horse silk
11/4
Dual Flat winner in 2017 for James Fanshawe, rated mid-80s in that sphere and requires careful scrutiny now starting out for champion jumps trainer.
7
Horse silk
100/1
Filly by Yeats out of a Shernazar mare, sent off 33/1 on debut at Limerick (2m, soft to heavy) over Christmas and beaten a wide margin. Must improve markedly.
8
Horse silk
100/1
Court Cave filly from a small yard, unable to get any sort of blow in last month in a bumper at Naas on debut, best watched reverting to hurdles for the first time.
9
Horse silk
100/1
Sent off 100/1 and well behind stablemate Caravation in a Naas maiden hurdle last month. Big ask to turn things around.
10
Horse silk
16/1
Network filly is a half-sister to bumper winner Malindi Bay. Encouraging effort on debut in a Navan maiden hurdle last month, though since well fended off at Limerick (2m4f, soft to heavy) when sent off favourite. Too soon to write her off.
11
Horse silk
100/1
Jeremy filly, beaten combined tally of more than 100L in two starts over timber so far, upped in distance now, best watched again.
12
Horse silk
16/1
Limited ability shown on the Flat and in pair of maiden hurdles last season, returned last month at Thurles (2m, good) with fair effort in Listed Mares' Novice Hurdle (beaten just over 10L), so not beyond realms she'll have a say now.

Forecasts

Caravation (4/7), Great White Shark (11/4), Kingston Girl (10/1), Tens Or Better (12/1), Strange Notions (16/1), Rapid Response (16/1), Cornakill Rose (20/1), Keenaghan Lass (100/1), Lilly Banner (100/1), Ali's Girl (100/1), Some Day Jemima (100/1), Johanna Yeats (100/1)

12:25 Fairyhouse - 12 January 2019 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

CARAVATION made a pleasing start over timber in running Champion Bumper heroine Relegate close last month at Naas. She goes up in trip this time and should prove a tough nut to crack in the opener. Dual Flat winner Great White Shark needs respecting on first start for Willie Mullins while Rapid Response is likely better than she showed on very heavy ground at Limerick last time. Punchestown bumper winner Tens Or Better might have eyes on place money on her jumps bow.
  1. Caravation
  2. Rapid Response
  3. Great White Shark
