Winner at Nottingham (1m2f, good to firm) in June and ran respectably when third at Leicester in September. Has since left John Best and had wind surgery, so taken seriously with a good apprentice booked and a tongue tie deployed.

2015 Queens Vase runner-up who has struggled since, and although he's fallen a long way in the weights, recent efforts don't suggest that a revival is imminent.

Won at Wolverhampton in August, and not disgraced on next couple of starts, but below form more recently off this mark, and has a bit to prove at present.

Cost 100,000 gns as a yearling and generally progressive in five starts for James Fanshawe without justifying the price tag. Probably needed the run on belated first start for new yard recently, and better expected now.

Back to the same mark as when winning a 1m2f amateur handicap here in June, so makes appeal on handicapping grounds, but needs to leave some modest recent efforts behind him.

Showed something to work on in four runs for William Knight, and although he failed to improve on first start for new yard/handicap debut at Wolverhampton last time, it's still early days with him.

Has won three times on Polytrack here this year (latest off 6lb lower), and not so good on turf, so easy enough to ignore lesser efforts in the summer. Worth a market check on return from a break, for all he's unproven beyond 1m2f.

Proving consistent since returning from a break in September, winning over 1m2f at Windsor. Better form in defeat on AW since, and possibility she still has improvement left in her. Shortlist material.

Won at Windsor in July for Dave Evans, but a tale of woe since move to current yard, beaten a long way in two starts over hurdles, and no better back on the Flat subsequently.

Failed to win for John Gosden, and while he wasn't disgraced on first start for current yard over C&D, he ran poorly at Kempton on his handicap debut, and is easy to oppose now.

Won at Yarmouth in June for Ed Vaughan, but not fired in three runs for new yard, albeit making some late headway at Kempton last time. Opposable unless strong in the market.

15:25 Lingfield - 19 December 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

PERFECT REFUGE is building up a solid profile, and this 3-y-o filly is open to further improvement given she's only had a handful of handicap starts. She may have most to fear from Ourmullion, who has had a breathing op since joining David Pipe, and could reap the benefit. Jafetica and Presence Process both needing a market check, the former on her second start back from a break, and the latter returning to the scene of his previous wins.
