Last of nine on lone flat start at Newcastle in August and fell at the first at 100/1 on recent hurdles bow. Likely huge price once again here and likely seeking a confidence booster for return to hurdles.
Third in last four starts including a C&D maiden when last seen. Subsequently gelded and had a wind op so possibilities more can be unlocked and in any case he has sound each-way claims.
Twice placed on turf for Clive Cox. Makes AW/stable bow here over a trip likely to prove around ideal so not ruled out if he takes to the surface and has at least place claims.
Recovered from a slow start to finish third beaten 6¾L on debut at Southwell last month. Also forced wide there so ran a solid race and should have more to come with starting an obvious hope for improvement. Not ruled out here.
Different tactics but same result in two starts to date here as she has been beaten 16L and 13L respectively over 1m1½f and 7f. Surprise if she plays a major role here.
12 race maiden in France really caught the eye on debut at Chelmsford (1m) on her UK debut when finishing best of all for a close third at 33/1. That effort gives her realistic claims here and possible there's more to come.
Best of her five races for James Fanshawe the last when second on turf debut at Yarmouth. First start for this yard and on Tapeta surface but not ruled out and certainly looks stable first string.
Not seemed top last out in two 1m5½f bumpers recently so flat may offer better options for her at this stage but would be a major surprise if she's up to getting competitive here.
Second in first two starts (second of them over C&D) but hugely disappointing 8/13 fav next at Kempton. Blinkers now added and worth another chance with first two runs excellent and the only runner for the champion trainer this evening.
Beautifully bred daughter of War Front who cost $510,000 as a yearling was eighth on debut here (Panmolle second) so a good bit more is required but no surprise if she does make significant step up here.
Forecasts
Panmolle (9/4), Red Chois (5/2), Gates Pass (7/2), Vow Of Presence (4/1), Ghazan (14/1), War No More (25/1), Duchess Of Avon (25/1), Hamilton Island (66/1), Cash N Carrie (100/1), Carnage (100/1)
As disappointing as PANMOLLE was last time when a long odds-on favourite she is given another chance with blinkers hopefully able to see her run to maximum potential now. Red Chois ran well on her UK debut and is the most feared rival while consistent sort Gates Pass has now had a wind-op and gelding operation to try and help him build on his quartet of third placed finishes.
