Two from seven in bumper's with both wins gained on a sound surface but probably the scope of some of these and minor place is likely the best he can hope for.
Bought for £400,000 after his Point-to-point win in February and impressively landed the odds on recent Bumper debut. Has a big reputation and sets the standard on the effort.
Well backed when scoring on debut Galway in October and looked a smart prospect but that form has taken several knocks since and likely needs to improve a good bit.
Interesting second string from the yard. Disqualified for prohibited substance after winning a Point-to-point in May (mixed messages from form) and fetched £225,000 later in the month.
Had plenty of subsequent winners behind when springing a 20/1 shock on debut in January. Sold for £95,000 shortly after and not seen since but looked decent prospect then and shouldn't be underestimated.
Forecasts
Envoi Allen (4/11), Midnight Run (7/1), Run Wild Fred (8/1), Well Set Up (10/1), Pakens Rock (16/1), Batcio (16/1), Rippon Lodge (100/1)
Gordon Elliott has won this for the last three years with smart Bumper horses and ENVOI ALLEN looked from the top drawer after his win last month and it will be disappointing if he can't maintain his unbeaten record. Well Set Up is interesting back after his absence and can chase home the selection with Midnight Run taken for minor honours.
