Horse silk
Arkyn40
Age: 3|  Weight: 10-12| J: Wayne Hutchinson| T: A King| BF
7/1
Related to a winner on the Flat; half-brother to a fairly useful hurdler in Hot Motive; failed to justify favouritism on debut at Market Rasen but not beaten all that far and will have learned from experience.
2
Horse silk
50/1
Half-brother to bumper winner Cabaret Girl. Doesn't make standout appeal on first start and is probably one to watch.
3

Don't Think Sot116
Age: 3|  Weight: 10-12| J: P J Brennan| T: J Ryan
33/1
Gelded son of So You think who price dropped from €26,000 as a yearling to just 1,500 gns at the sales in February. Tailed off on debut at Huntingdon this month and easily passed over now.
Al Namix gelding is a half-brother to fairly useful hurdler/fair chaser Danse du Large and cost €40,000 as a two-year-old. Not without a hope on debut.
5
Horse silk
4/1
Midnight Legend gelding, first foal, doesn't make instant appeal on paper and likely best left to it on debut.
6
Horse silk
2/1
Connections forked out €75,000 for this well-related sort. Yard sent out first-time bumper winner at Ascot recently and any money here will be notable.
Rip Van Winkle gelding, makes moderate appeal on paper ahead of first start, though trainer not blessed with many bumper winners.
10
Horse silk
7/2
Invincible Spirit gelding, closely related to multiple winners including half-brother to pair of Flat winners. Represents top connections and should be prominent in betting on debut.

Horse silk
Filipineh18
Age: 3|  Weight: 10-5| J: Alain Cawley| T: R Hobson
25/1
Sent off 40/1 on second start in a bumper at this track a week ago and fell with a mile still to travel. Others more likely on form again.
Picked up for small money and nothing to be encouraged by when tailed off in a bumper at Huntingdon last month.
Universal filly, related to some useful jumpers, albeit pedigree suggests stamina will be a forte in due course and probably best watched first time out.

15:20 Warwick - 29 November 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Arkyn sets the standard from those with experience of the racecourse and his Market Rasen third could be improved upon, particularly should he consent to settle a bit better now with the experience behind him. There are plenty dangers amongst the newcomers. Twist represents the champion trainer and, related to some useful winners on the Flat, is one to pay close attention. Equally, the second Alan King runner, Perfect Predator, could go well but connections paid €75,000 for L'INCORRIGIBLE and with the yard in good form and possessing a good record in bumpers he earns the nod for a winning debut.
  1. L'incorrigible
  2. Arkyn
  3. Twist
