1
Horse silk
11/2
€35,000 three-year-old; half-sister to useful hurdler Hunters Hoof who was hooded for her Warwick debut. Failed to get the run of the race (forced wide home turn) and showed plenty for the future; more come, yard 1-19 in bumpers this year.
2
Horse silk
33/1
Debutante who is a half-sister to bumper winner Bambys Boy (a debut winner by 13L at Kelso for Keith Reveley). Yard are 1-10 in bumpers this year (Ask Paddington the winner); jockey booking takes the eye; worth a market check.

Horse silk
Big Fiddle204
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: Aidan Coleman| T: R T Phillips
40/1
Comes with a pedigree that is laden with stamina and looks to need time as well as distance. Outpaced at Ludlow on her bumper debut she's likely to find this trip sharp enough even on a galloping track.
4
Horse silk
Deadringerforlove21
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-12| J: N D Fehily| T: H Fry
7/4
Makes plenty of appeal on pedigree alone (half-sister to Sizing John) and left a good impression after her bumper debut at Chepstow; finished 4th. Looked as though she could use a longer trip but well up to winning a race such as this for a top yard.
Yard have yet to have a bumper winner this season (0-11 so far). Off the mark at the 3rd attempt in Irish point-to-points and may just need this experience against some useful sorts.
6
Horse silk
Farne
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-12| J: J M Quinlan| T: N B King
25/1
Debutante who cost €12,000 as a three-year-old out of a dam who was unraced but is a half-sister to the useful hurdler/chaser Ruben Cotter. Yard have an 11% strike-rate over the past five seasons in bumper but are 0-3 this season.
7
Horse silk
Hott Lips277
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-12| J: R T Dunne| T: H J Evans
100/1
From a yard that are not noted for their bumper runners but are 2-13 in the past five seasons this one has yet to complete in two point-to-point outings (pulled up and fallen). Others make far more appeal.
8
Horse silk
Manon222
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-12| J: B S Hughes| T: M & D Easterby
16/1
Bred to do better at longer trips so it makes her debut effort over C&D a positive one back in March. However, she disappointed on her follow up run getting outpaced and soon being left behind; needs to show more now on her return.
9
Horse silk
8/1
From a yard going well (had a treble yesterday) this half-sister to the fairly useful hurdler/chaser Sea Wall is worth keeping an eye on for her debut. Yard a 0-5 in bumpers this season but worth more than a glance in the market.
10
Horse silk
66/1
One from a successful jumping family and she shaped with a little progress on her debut at Kelso when given a considerate ride under the same rider. Should learn from the experience but will need further than 2m.
11
Horse silk
14/1
Runner-up in both her completed Irish point-to-points (fell on debut) she shaped better than the bare result on her Warwick debut and looked as though the run would bring her on. Now hooded she's expected to build on that initial outing.
12
Horse silk
25/1
Getaway filly whose dam was a bumper winner; half-sister to a useful hurdler/chaser Here's Johnny. Yard 0-8 in bumpers this year and the market may be the best guidance for this one.
13
Horse silk
Shantewe
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-12| J: G Sheehan| T: Jamie Snowden
16/1
Debutante from a yard that are capable of producing winners in this sphere. By Shantou she's out of an unraced dam who is a useful hurdler/chaser Chief Yeoman. Also has some useful Flat types in her pedigree and one to keep an eye on.
14
Horse silk
Soeur De Stropp118
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: D B Hurst(10)| T: C Grant
200/1
Cheekpieces are now tried on this half-sister to four winners by Robin Des Pres who showed very little in her debut at Kelso; struggled from a long way out. Others make far more appeal on that evidence.
15
Horse silk
Stream Lady205
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: T Scudamore| T: D Pipe
5/1
Won an Irish maiden point-to-point by 12L on her only outing in that sphere but comes from a top yard and the form of that run has worked out well. Yard have a respectable 18% strike-rate in bumpers although they are 0-6 at this track.
16
Horse silk
100/1
Makes her debut for a yard that are 0-36 in bumpers in the last five seasons (0-4 this season). Westerner filly whose dam was a maiden hurdler but a sister to this yard's useful hurdler/smart chaser Fiendish Flame; likely to find most too good.

Forecasts

Deadringerforlove (7/4), Stream Lady (5/1), Anightinlambourn (11/2), Peaceful Valley (8/1), Rosie And Millie (14/1), Shantewe (16/1), Manon (16/1), Farne (25/1), Secret Getaway (25/1), Devito'sredrobin (25/1), Bambys Girl (33/1), Big Fiddle (40/1), Quiet Penny (66/1), Western Dixie (100/1), Hott Lips (100/1), Soeur De Strop (200/1)

15:25 Wetherby - 28 November 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

As with most bumpers there is likely to be a mix of abilities on display here and the market and paddock will be the most informative factors. Anightinlambourn has already shaped well on her debut and is bound to put that experience to good use here but another one who caught the eye on debut DEADRINGERFORLOVE is narrowly preferred especially if this turns into a stamina test. The Irish point-to-point form of Stream Lady has to be respected with Peaceful Valley from the in-form Lucy Wadham stable worth a check in the market along with Shantewe and Rosie And Millie.
  1. Deadringerforlove
  2. Peaceful Valley
  3. Anightinlambourn
