Winner of this race last year, but was pulled up on his only subsequent start at Catterick. First run since January and looks high enough in the weights.
Returning from a break when scoring in a handicap hurdle at this venue. Reverts to fences, but only previous effort over the bigger obstacles saw him struggle.
Only his second run over fences when jumping well to win a three-runner contest at Taunton, although his main rival came to grief. Could be nicely treated.
Back-to-back wins on his last two starts last season and returns to action off a 6lb higher mark. Should be able to get involved if straight enough following his break.
French import who has won three of his six races over fences. Well beaten in a decent novice hurdle at Ascot on his first run for this stable and could do better returning to chasing
Back to winning ways when scoring at Wincanton last month. Still only young and is one for the short list off 3lb higher, but would not want too much rain.
Forecasts
Watcombe Heights (9/4), Night Of Sin (10/3), New Millennium (7/2), Dark Invader (7/1), Admiral's Secret (8/1), Un Prophete (10/1), Valseur Du Granval (12/1), Envole Toi (20/1)
Un Prophete will do well to repeat last year's success on his seasonal reappearance, while Watcombe Heights needs to step up on his only run over fences. Cases can be made for Dark Invader, Valseur Du Granval,Admiral's Secret and New Millennium, but NIGHT OF SIN jumped well to win a novice chase last time and could be well handicapped. Envole Toi could do better back over fences.
