Paul Nicholls has won the last six runnings of this race, so there is likely to be a clamour to be with Magic Saint. However, he does have a bit to prove over this far and on the ground, and it could be worth siding with RIVER WYLDE. Nicky Henderson's charge has had wind surgery since his last run about a year ago. He is almost certain to be straight enough to do himself justice and he could improve over this longer trip. Activial could be a threat, while a clear round from Kalondra would entitle him to respect.
