Bumper and novice hurdle winner a couple of years ago and ran well on his return from a lengthy absence when second at Huntingdon (soft) over an extended 2m4f on handicap debut in January. Leading contender in this contest.
Handicap mark is falling following some moderate efforts this year. Races off a mark 1lb lower than when winning over an extended 2m5f at Wincanton (soft) in December last year.
Returns to hurdles following a couple of wins over an extended 3m1f in handicap chases. Races off the same mark as when winning at Ludlow (good) last time out and is likely to play a leading role racing from out of the handicap.

GARDINERS HILL is taken to complete a hat-trick on his return to hurdles following a couple of handicap chase victories. The selection receives weight from all of his rivals and can get the better of Penn Lane who ran well on his return from an absence earlier this year. Third place can go to Rocco who carries top weight on handicap debut following a good novice hurdle run last time.
