Broke his maiden under Rules when winning a 2m5f handicap chase at Stratford (good) by 11L last time out. One to note despite a 7lb rise in the weights.
Good second at Bangor (3m, good) in August on his first start since wind surgery. Struggled next time out however and interesting to see how he fares following a break.
In good form in recent starts following up a head defeat over hurdles with a nose victory in a 2m5f handicap chase at Ffos Las (good-to-soft) last time out. More needed off a 7lb higher mark.
Winner over 2m4f at Uttoxeter (good) in September and ran well when beaten 4L into third over the same trip at Perth later that month. Cheekpieces tried for the first time on this occasion.

Promising 18L third on seasonal and chase debut at Huntingdon (2m4f, good) last time out. Improvement likely and market support would be notable in this contest.
Failed to complete on his last two starts most recently when unseating at an early stage over 2m5f at Ffos Las (good-to-soft) last month. Others make more appeal.
Winner of two handicap hurdles last month including over 2m7f at Exeter (good-to-firm) last time out. One for the shortlist off a 2lb higher mark on his return to fences.
Good effort in finishing runner-up in a 3m2f handicap chase at Newton Abbot (good) in September. Disappointed at Plumpton subsequently however.
Forecasts
Bradford Bridge (7/4), One Forty Seven (10/3), Soupy Soups (11/2), Cloth Cap (10/1), Net Work Rouge (10/1), Vendredi Trois (12/1), Dr Robin (12/1), Orchestrated (25/1), Hidden Charmer (66/1)
The application of cheekpieces for the first time can see SOUPY SOUPS improve on trainer Neil Mulholland's recent 19% strike-rate (4/21) in this competitive handicap chase. The selection ran well when third last time and can get the better of Bradford Bridge who returns to fences following a couple of hurdles victories. Third place can go to top weight One Forty Seven who remains open to improvement.
