Peak efforts have been over a little further than this so the trip around here is a slight concern. On the plus side he almost always runs his race. Gave it another solid effort at Goodwood (1m1f) last time when beaten by a well handicapped rival.

Had a good time of things earlier in the year winning a couple of times off lower marks. Hold-up performer who needs everything to drop right. Slow starts can be an issue and finding life a little tougher off this higher mark.

Comfortably won a Wolverhampton claimer three starts back. Struggled back in handicap company the last twice so hard to know what to expect. A return to the AW is a positive but all peak efforts have come going right-handed which is a small concern.

Last win came off this mark but has been rather inconsistent so far in 2018. Sole AW win came on the Fibresand at Southwell and only run here was a poor one. Clearly capable at this level however but will need to run one of her best races.

Has slipped down the weights to a tempting mark and his sole win came here in a 6f maiden. Blinkers go on for the first time which should help and will have sound claims if getting a clearer run than was the case at Lingfield last time.

Didn't get the best of runs at Chelmsford two starts back but was very disappointing when folding tamely at Pontefract last time. Continues to slip down the weights but needs a good jolt of improvement now down in grade.

Running well at present without winning. Got outpaced and got going to late at Brighton last time in a similar contest. Riders claim helps here and should go well once more.

Been knocking on the door in stronger races than this of late. Only headed close home at Chelmsford last time and has slipped another 1lb. Down in grade here and sound claims of going well despite the high draw.

Tends to run close to the pace and is pretty consistent. Got shuffled back on the inner at Lingfield last time and raced keenly as a result. Finished off the race well but the leaders had kicked off the front. Clear claims if able to build on that.

Has looked a bit tricky at times but also potentially well-handicapped so no surprise to see the application of the blinkers here. Likely needs everything to drop right but lightly raced and should be more to come.

Won on her debut for her current yard - coming back from a long absence in the process - and created the impression the best is yet to come. However, the filly has been below par in two starts since and now has a bit to prove.

Looked to be on a nice mark ahead of handicap debut here over C&D last time and duly ran a cracker when only headed close home. Nudged up 3lb for that but should be plenty more to come and a leading contender once more.

Won a novice event at Wolverhampton comfortably two starts back. Got outpaced and outclassed on handicap debut at Newmarket last time. Going up in trip looks a good move and this drop in grade will certainly help too. Riders claim a bonus.

Winner off 1lb lower at Chlemsford two starts back and has won here in the past. Should get a good pace to aim at here and will be looking to weave his way through late on. Not easily dismissed.

A tough opener and plenty have chances. Dixieland Diva looks to have sound claims now going back up in trip and dropping in grade. She got hampered when trying to make ground up in a stronger race than this at Newmarket last time and her yard won this in 2016. Nawar was only collared late on over C&D last time and is going the right way, he is sure to run another good race. We will take a chance that there is more to come from ZAFARANAH who looked unlucky at Lingfiled last time. Having been shuffled back on the inner she had to wait to make her challenge and finished with running left in her. She has sound claims if she can get over from a wide draw.
